The result is that many people still care about what others think. Doing so, you're never happy, because you can't be yourself, trying to please people around. It'll take many years to change. In UK, where I live, people couldn't care less about others and it's fine. I don't have to get latest Samsung or Apple phone (even if I can easily afford it) just to show off, I'm above that. Try it. You may like it.

It's a push to MakeInIndia campaign and needless to say doing wonders. Now, almost everything we use is manufactured within the nation. You may even see Made in India iPhones soon.

Can buy a macbook air for that price. and laptops last for almost 5years unlike phones which become obsolete in 2-3 yrs max. and why is india pricing higher then us pricing. us consumers can afford to pay more so should be cheaper in india. plus the phones are made in china which is next to india so logistics will be cheaper as well. Not to mention when there is even a small problem in us then ppl start sueing u in court. while in india nobody cares much thanks to our legal system which is slow and full of loopholes. But unfortunately Indians have the wannabe attitude which companies like apple exploit. We will buy the phones even when we are broke on emi just to prove that we have money. Thus such companies make merry in India.
