The safety of their customers has never been a priority of Samsung. But they indeed prioritized to get ahead of Apple at all costs. Well, it ended up costing them dearly in the end, alright.

Anonymous, 17 Sep 2016So do Apple http://www.redmondpie.com/iphone-explodes-in-cy... moreTrue

But than again Apple explosions were few and far between. As in this case after the mechanical damage to the unit.Just remember how much more iphones are there than Note 7.
Not defending the Apple(altough iphone user!),and I strongly believe that any company that put the customers health in danger should be sued to the death.

Look at the date it's been a week and samsung didn't recall units in USA until recently, it's samsung's fault and he deserve to get medical payback because the sBoom feature planted on the note 7 active on it's own (it didn't even charge just kept on the pants)

Americans don't care about their safety. they just care if can get some extra money after the legal litigation. Many people out there are willing to have a problem with their note 7 since Samsung is spending so much money on the recall.

Samsung, we're expecting that there will be no more programmed obsolesce (in a form of the NON-REMOVABLE BATTERY) in your next products!!!

                            Bring the REMOVABLE BATTERY back!

Its not all bad for Samsung - they got some free publicity out of it. Some people that hadn't heard of the Note7 now know of it. Samsung just needs to convey that there is nothing wrong with the phone - only the battery.
