AnonD-454786, 19 Sep 2016Since this phone is waterproof, it could be shipped inside ... moreSince the anode-cathode reaction in li-ion batteries is self-sustaining, you would effectively need a pressure vessel to transport the devices as you propose, with all its safety associated instruments. Pressure vessel = lots more weight = much higher transportation cost.

Samsung should contact Boeing to carry the Note7s. They do know how to handle exploding Li-Ion batteries on planes ;)

Keep apologising for a corporation who only cares about getting ahead of apple and everyone else. This big of an issue could've been avoided had samsung just stuck to proper quality control and not rush their phone.

After defusing, the toxic plastic (already our planet has been polluted with millions of samesong notebad 1-7 and iisshh 1-7 devices) needs to be transferred to outer space station in Uranus and used for Building warp engines of future star trek mothership!

US have no problem being the worlds largest arm exporter obviously they doesn't like competitive foreign companies they did the same to Volkswagen, This more of a political game rather than shipping concern, South Korea should be careful who their "friends" really are, they are trying to incite you to a war against North Korea and risking annihilate your country and your companies that you have achieved over the past years, US doesn't care about you they seek destruction of other countries to their avail.
