... moreintresting thing is that my old xperia l battery is still fine,and i have no problems with z3,and if phones stoped charging did you maybe think that charger is dead?
i never sad c4 is good phone,it has mtk chipset so that first thing that i dont like about it a few others,and maybe it does lag dont know
yes security update is only june,but android verision on vivo is only 5.x.x. so where is the probem? i read about phones security long time ago,and not only security on phones are that andorid security updates..
yes i am sony fan,big sony fan,and i would buy anything else long as i can afford sony smartphone,but im not usual fan of some brand,i have knowledge about phones,not just xperia phones,and i know why i bought sony phone,and i know why im sony fan
i all sodont have problem with admiting that some phones are better then xperias if they are better,if vivo make better phones than sony i will say vivo is better then sony,but that not the case now
there is point of paying premium price for sony phone and i will explain you why
lets start with software,what is it? well its almost stock android with a bit defferent desing,some usefull features,with some very nice app made by sony,and great multimedia
and everything is made in unique way,wverything work very good,with no lags,at least on z series,and x,xp,probably will be the sam thing on xz,and xc,and i dont reay belive you about laging problems with c4,xperia l dosent lag much,with 2 cpu core clocked on 1 ghz and gig of ram
then you have displays,Triluminos display google a you will find out what is Triluminos
with that you have x-reality engine,very nice thing if you are watching videos
then you have great sound,it not the loudest,but im more intrested in clarity,balance,details in sound,and all of this three thing can be sad about sound quality on xperias
on new xperias you have new tipe of battery,batterys that will last longer,twice longer then you battery in vivo
then some of the model are watterproff
then you have great build quality,great materials,even sony plastic is great and its painted properly
etc...
yes there is some problems,z3 does have fragile glass on front,but there is reason why is only one glass,and its called fully laminated screen,and you put good case and not problem any more,and when using camera,phones overheat,what in fact dosent,but it turns of camera app,and that is
now when im buying android phone i want android expiraince,best android expiraince,and for me that sony software,its not for some,but its for me but when it come to phones like vivo ther is not much of android expiraince,becouse they copy apple,they should call there ui ios...
this chinese brands are not bad,but they are not better..
do you now understand why sony cost? if you asked me for example which sony to buy,i would tell you dont buy c4 if you dont need selfie phone,and buy i dont know for example z3,now is cheap,and i dosent lag,if c4 lags like you sad
do you maybe use app like clean master on phone? if you do stop,uninstal app,app like this can slow down phone..if you still have it,and delete chache,go to storage,find chache and delete it
all so try to uninstall some other app,app can ruin phones performance and battery life,there is a lot of badly made apps

Some people are dumb as f..k! You cannot get Nougat if your phone's processor is not compatible with it: x86 vs x64.
So quit whining and go read a book or something.

Z1: premium flagship phone, stopped charging randomly, battery dead randomly, and Sony refused to look at my phone for service. Tried a trade in at Sony store, and they only valued it at about $30 despite it being pristine.
C4: laggy phone. Camera start up was so slow it's embarrassing. I bought a Vivo V3 instead (cheaper, faster, has more storage, fingerprint). Sony updated C4 to Marshmallow, but security update is only June. My cheaper Vivo V3, although still on lollipop, but Vivo cared about security more by patching it till August security patch.
So yeah, there is no point in paying premium for Sony unless you are simply a fanboy, which Sony is capitalizing by upping their prices on their phones. The Chinese OEMs are getting better, cannot deny that. Companies like Sony will only last as along as the fanboys still giving them money. I guess thanks to people like you. Meanwhile, rational consumers will go for other phones that gives them more value for the money.

Secondly, if the Nougat deal was still on for Z3, by the time it'd be available to download, it'd have already completed its 2 year life cycle in October, 2016 and it'd receive 7.0 in December.

its true that i personaly dont have anything else except sony for few years,i did have lg,long time ago,but my sister did have samsung,and my girlfrend have samsung,her sister have htc,and a lot of frends have all so samsung phones,and frend have iphones,few of them,and one mate from school have lg,and i know one thing,that i and my frend with iphone,dont have problems with phones,not even battery problems,after a year of using,but i cant tell that for almost all other that using samsung,or htc,or lg
and heard form people about problems with lot of phones
and my other good frend wich listen me and buy xperia dont have any problem with her so sony is low quality?
so im intrested why you think they are bad?
