Apple is just following up on Android and Samsung. I agree that changing the name on something to make it a proprietary and make it sound good for marketing reasons is not innovation.

Removable battery => gone (sold as feature), IR Blaster => gone (sold as feature), last year, microSD card => gone (sold as feature). I can bet you that the S8 or S9 will also ditch the audio 3.5" jack, since Apple ditched it too, and Samsung will innovate like Apple (*cough* copy * cough*).
So all in all, all you blame Apple, is what Samsung also does.
People are not jealous that Samsung is doing good; people fail to understand how Samsung can ditch its customers in favor of more profit (less quality) and the "acquiring" of the Apple fan base (nice phone cases, without anything inside to back up the price); that's what the rants on Samsung in the internet are about.

Ok I am giving this phone a miss. I think the S7 series has failed BUT they have sold tons of it except Note 7 ofcourse.
My S7 is useless after 6 months, network issues, dull screen....

So my old Note 7 was absolutely fine. But due to the recall I got it changed. better safe than sorry. But the new device is heating up when I charge it via a cable. Fine with wireless charging. Phone is great though, just dont want it blowing up while next to my THING...

Wow, the curse on Note7 is never ending i guess. What if the overheating and catching fire problem was NOT due to batteries in the first place and the problem is still there. LMAO just think about it guys, its becoming like a horror movie for Note7 users now.
