The Mi 5s only has a 3200 mAh battery, the Plus screen is too big for my liking (especially without QHD) but the prices are fantastic, too bad it's only limited to China.

Just since the comment of mine(12hrs) mi5s has had 50k hits vs the plus that has had 40k, yet there is no sign of the Mi5s on the chart. Anyway they must have their reasons..
Also unlike yourself most are very happy with what they have made available. They pushed a device with one of the fastest AnTuTu on Android. One of the best cameras on any mobile. The same high speed storage as iPhone 7 and Samsung S7, a huge 600nit 1500:1 display likely from Japan Display as normal.. All for nearly 1/3 of the price of the S7 and iPhone 7
I myself am still waiting for the QHD Mi Note 2 Pro, it will be comong, mark my word.

all this weeks hype and there is hardly any changes from its predecessor Mi5. The flagship doesn't even have a radio. leaks were all fake. price, you get what you pay for.

Hey GSMarena, I'm just wondering why the Mi5s isn't getting #1 slot in top 10 daily interest devices? I mean it's had 2.4 million views and 355 love, vs the Mi5s Plus at 65k views and 50 love which now ranked #6. It would be nice to see it on the top 10 :)

Credit where it's due. These look like great options for those wanting flagship specs while on a budget. Still not sold on xiaomi as a brand though. Experience with chinese oems are largely unfavorable in terms of after-sales and customer support.

Spike1, 27 Sep 2016I guess having QHD screen would have been toooo much, righy... moreToo much for a small display (even for Mi Max QHD isn't an option, only for Mi Pad then it sounds right). Most people wouldn't want to sacrifice (a lot of) battery life for pixels you can't really see without macro lens. With FHD, the battery can last two days or something (common use). QHD might halve it and it's no good.

I preferred the glass back of the Mi5. But this also looks good and is not so similar to Samsung and still not so similar to Apple. It's like a glass design made out of metal. Good

great spec for the price, but the design is such a let down, now they put antena line like on iphone? specially if you compare to mi 5 black version, ohhh such an art. I wish they kept the design for the S model, like apple does to their S model.
