I'm just sharing my experience, it's true most people who own samsung are not cool. So if your not cool just live with it, you chose to be a lonely nerd so no need to be angry on me!
Most people who have style will go with either S/E or apple but no samsung for sure. maybe htc is still considered elegant and many wise users still prefer HTC and they have a point, but sammy are not even close. And by the way se updates are 1000 times better than samsung.
If fact, samsung is the worse company when it comes to support and updates, even sammy fans acknowledge and admit such thing, so I really don't know what your talking about nerdy :P
It's really strange when people choose to be cheap and that get angry for accusing them of being cheap! You chose cheap, cheesy, plasticy, rubbish sammy not me.

It seems that most people here agree that samsung phones look cheap, cheesy
And totally ugly with zero taste of style. So It's not something just in my mind
And no offense when I come to think about it, most the dudes that I personally

I def think it is an Originalphone by Samsung if You look in the picture, the top left side where the keyboard is...it says on the keyboard samsung corporate LoL so I guess one of the workers must have leaked the pic ;)

does S stand for Speed or Samsung, if it stands for speed then i feel sorry for the mighty google because Apple did the same when they launched iphone 3g and after a while 3gs. Nexus One was not an ice breaker due to the way it was launched with no adverts no pr no marketing on Tv at all. Same thing will happen to this i guess as i see Google rely on its web ads and other google sites and dont care about Tv, magazine, newspapaer adverts. Look at Apple they way they advertise if Google do the same for this it will sell milllions and millions of this new phone.

This is just my comment but i think a few things that make a great phone.
1. The phone has to look good and be made well
2. It has to be able to do what it says on the tin or in this case the spec sheet
3. It cant lag behind in updates and bug fixes
4. Marketing of the phone has to be amazing because you can have 1-3 and still not sell any phones.
5. Customer care
I think Samsung have good Marketing but lately and it not always been the case they really fail and points 1&3
the finsh of the phone just isnt there it just a cheap plastic slab with a nice screen you dont feel like you are holding quality.
it great that Samsung may come out with the most up to date android version but what is going to happen to customers who bought the Galaxy S who may have just got there upgrade.
I dont think you can blame only Samsung for this the whole Android software thing is a mess.

I wish Samsung would get some new designers for the phones. They have excellent software, but the hardware of Samsung still looks as cheap, plastic and ugly as before. The only reason tha i am not buying Samsung is the cheap "chinese" looking plastic design and material.

This is just a phone by samsung that will have 2.3.
At no point did Eric say "This is the successor to the Nexus One". The Nexus one didn't say HTC anywhere on it, and neither will the next nexus, no matter who makes it. The next nexus will most likely be "Nexus Two" and this is NOT it. The pure fact that it says "Samsung" on it proves it's not a Nexus.
Again. Just a phone by samsung being denied by Eric Schmidt. The manufacturer name has been covered only because samsung hasn't officially announced it.

Makes sense to have samsung make it.they have amazing hardware but terrible software.with the phone running stock android 2.3 it should be amazing

Trust me, only people with no taste and style would buy such ugly device. I'll wait for the X12 or a better device from htc but no way am I getting an ugly device like this even if it had the best technology in the world.

I agree. It's not the most good looking phone around. I still believe the Samsung Wave is still the best looking phone. What do you people think?
