Can you tell steps to go to recovery mode ... moreTurn off the mobile.
Then press volume down and Power button together to boot into recovery.
Select advanced option from the menu.
(Use the power button to select an option and the minimize button to go back)
Then select wipe cache option.
This will take few seconds to complete.
Now restart your mobile normally.
Please confirm if this works! May help others.

I have just installed this update and my screen is staying completely blank. I have obviously tried turning it on and off again and rebooted but still nothing. What can I do???

Had all the mentioned problems after yesterday's update.
Rebooted my 1+X into recovery mode. And then wiped the cache. It is working normal since then. Not sure if the cache wipe resolved the issue. Hit or miss.

Last night, I updated my OnePlus X phone software which said September security updates and dependencies for Marshmallow update.
Ever since the phone got updated, it's out of control. Gets hanged in 1 minute or two, System UI, Launcher doesn't respond, gets extremely hot, unresponsive.
what is the solution guys..

Try this.
For the play store not working problem uninstall google+ and reboot.
For facebook crashing while opening camera we need to manually give the storage permissions for the app.Go to settings ->apps->facebook->permissions->storage.Check storage.
Hope this works.

Me too :( Overheats, facebook hangs, Settings hangs. Rebooting (n times) doesn't fix anything :P

I have the same problem. After restarting the app I am using with stop responding followed shortly by the launcher. The only thing I can do is restart the phone again.
