OnePlus X finally gets Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow update starting today

Phone started heating up, there is a lot of network issue and phone gets hanged after the update.

I just installed this this morning. My Apps don't seem to be working anymore. Facebook, Tune in Radio, Hppn, tried so far. They all open then crash, requiring a reboot to close.

AnonD-428442, 29 Sep 2016Those are flagships phone that cost more than the OnePlus X... moreExcuse me but I was comparing the phones that where released before oneplus X with the same chipset(at least what most people think, but not quite correct) , cheaper price for it is because it offers crappy quality and it's not so popular brand . and as I mentioned it used slightly slower version of SD801 then those flagships , also price for that chipset drooped as well after almost two years available on the market ... oneplus used part that no-one wanted and made cheap phone LOL . 13 MP 1/3" sensor size which now sony uses as front camera lol that's cheap , same sensor as M4 aqua rear and M5 front camera . also there is cheap AMOLED display , not even SAMOLED hahaha everything in oneplusx is so lower end midrange except for that cheaper version of SD801 .
also prices of those flagship phones drooped significantly over the year ...M4 aqua was Sony midranger released few months before oneplus x and got MM update faster ...
so all praise this update for oneplus x deserves is literally ''better late than never'' .

Got the update today. Bricked my Google play services and play store app, kept getting error dialog pop ups no matter how many times I reset app permissions or reinstalled different apks. I'm running stock, btw. Then I factory reset the phone, but then it wasn't receiving or transmitting any cellular mobile data. So then I had to factory reset it again just to get it to work. Very annoyed at the update process. Phone was a bargain but this, coupled with spotty Bluetooth signals that give out a lot, wireless tethering that rarely works, and sunpar battery life, I'm definitely going to sell my OnePlus x and get the Google pixel when it drops.

If you want to compare flagships, then compare with OnePlus One that got Marshmallow a long time ago as well, yet cheaper than those flagships.

Last night, I updated my OnePlus X phone software which said September security updates and dependencies for Marshmallow update. Ever since the phone got updated, it's out of control. Gets hanged in 1 minute or two, System UI, Launcher doesn't respond, gets extremely hot, unresponsive. At a point I actually had to throw it away from me thinking it might explode (it became that hot). Anyone experiencing similar issue ?
Basically it has become a hot paper weight that can be used to throw at people.
