29 September 2016
It is not official yet, but it really looks like Samsung is planning to use MediaTek chips in the future.

I believe its due to the fact Samsungs own chip the Exynos 8890 Octa
used in Note 7 is overheating. And Samsung losing trust in its own chip making ability.
It has been trying to move away from Qualcomm quite sometimes now. Maybe they are now realizing they cant compete against Apple's chip making abilities.
Perhaps work with Mediatek and use their expertise to improve on their chips instead of trying to make their own. Since we know Qualcomm will not work with one phone maker exclusively.

people who only recognizes SD, Exynos Apple chips as good processor has no idea what MTK can do

GePandhega, 29 Sep 2016Maybe it's about HSA development.Just like when there's rumor about MTK and AMD.

Isn't Mediatek phones cheaper so, this mean future Samsung will be cheap. I would be impressed if they put Helio X20 chipsets in midrangers.

            Maybe it's about HSA development.

People's Republic of China and Republic of China (Taiwan) are different. PRC people called Chinese while ROC people called Taiwanese, writer should use Taiwanese instead of Chinese. MediaTek headquarter located at ROC (Taiwan)

This would be a very simple way to increase your market share.
Just say that you will sell hardware to a big company and done, money flowing...

No Mediatek, don't stoop to shamesungs level. All they are gonna do is buy low end junk from you and sell at expensive price. It could've been good deal if they bought high range Mtk processors, but Sammy ain't gonna do it.

Medusa processor can be developed best in this, procedure, I believe it's gonna be 8nm(5Si4P atom)for General Computing Unit and 10nm(6Si5P atom) for Vector Processing

and I also think someone from China showed up at my place regarding these developments,Hay Thnx Man.
