It's maxed and that's it, just like the original Mi Note Pro or the Mi5 Pro. Anything else is the standard Mi Note, however still very good. Given the Mi5s I would be very surprised to see a SD820 in the standard model. Purely based on supply, why back track to an inferior processor when it's cheaper to continue with the SD821. The Pro will most likely have the SD830 to support the 8gb of ram that was shown in the legitimate looking about phone screenshot leaked recently. Wait and see.

Very best that rumors say they shall put S820, 4 GB RAM, and 32 GB storage for Mi Note 2 while Mi Note 2 Pro shall not only get to have the very best hardware but shall also get variants with less-than-very-best hardware at the time of release

32GB on the Mi Note 2? That seems a bit odd.

AnonD-587589, 30 Sep 2016I don't see any reason whatsoever for these phones to exist... moreI'm not sure what you are on about? Here in Thailand, the Mi5s price is USD$170-$220 cheaper than these devices you have mentioned with far superior features. The Mi Note 2 Pro likely with QHD/8GB/256GB/Ceramic will be the same price as the mid-ranges you have mentioned.

I don't see any reason whatsoever for these phones to exist. Originally the rumors were the Mi 5S to be exactly what it turned out to be, with the Mi Note 2 was supposed to be what the Mi 5S Plus turned out to be.
Lets not also forget they have the only 3 month old 5.5" RedMi Pro which they are touting as a "flagship".
At this point I see no need for a Mi Note 2 to exist. If there is anything they are missing, its at the mid-range 5" (as in a Redmi 4) and anything around 6" to compete with the Oppo R7 Plus, Galaxy A9 Pro and the Huawei Mate 9.
They have the M Max but that's 6.44 inches, which is more like the Lenovo Phab 2

What is this Xiaomi?! They are totally flooding the market with everything they have! Not a bad trick though, played and still playing well by Samsung. Xiaomi needs more global presence though.

AnonD-100372, 29 Sep 2016Is the camera sensor inferior to Mi5s or Mi5s plus?Haha, that's a fair question. No The Mi Note / Pro series is their flagship series, it's the device they pack in all the very best hardware at the time of release, including HiFi DAC which is what I'm waiting for. Unlike the Mi5s at 1/3rd the cost of an iPhone, the Mi Note Pro will be priced around half perhaps a little above this year.
The Mi5s Plus is some weird device they just threw in for kicks and giggles. It's generally inferior to the Mi5s and makes no sense...
