These moto phones are BORING! They're nothing new!! same old moto razr idea. I work in a fone shop and wont be pushing these forward because and all they give me is grief! The build quality is v.poor with the batterys and signal quality being the main reasons these come back for cancellation. Hopefully motorola can prove me wrong but i aint holding my breath.

Every one is missing the single major update to these phones....
The I key is gone! Just like the V3X these new handsets have removed the I key which caused so many problems for people new to moto's. In line with every other phone the new moto's have a select and options key rather then an extra key to show some options in some menus.

Motorola wants to cash-in on this overused design. This old design no longer has the charm it had before because something fresh always comes out. Take my advise Motorola: don't be afraid to think of something fresh. It will be of more benefit to think of something new than to make a constipated attempt to bring it back in fashion.

Too bad...This is definitely one of the worst phones I've ever seen. Of the two designs, I prefer the former. Design of Motorola is sluggish.

For all of you Nokia and SE fan boys, Motorola phones are the best looking phones in the market. These phones look great, have very good features and they will sell like hot cakes.

yeah these phones sucks. 176x220 display? sounds like joke for me. today's standard is QVGA ! but people are stupid and will buy this rubbish, sama like moto v3, which doesn't have any decent functions, though, it cost a lot when compare it to other phones. but people still are buying it! crazy!

There is a big market for phones that look good even though the features are not optimal. These phones don't have the fanciest cameras but they have the design. Phones such as the Nokia N93 is huge (180g and 133cc) and Sony Ericsson K800 is 22mm thick. And besides the cameras they have a lot of features, HSDPA in the new RAZRs for example which Nokia and Sony Ericsson don't have yet.
The bottom line is that Motorola is leading the "slim" trend (Nokia is to late to respond!), has sold over 50 million units of the RAZR and has reched 22% market share in the global mobile phone market!
They will continue to exploit this trend as much as they can and introduce more and more "slim" phones - and sell them well.

sorry MOTO
its fair to get some sort of flash in there.
the design is ok (V3 designs dont look that appealing, but i like the slider)
screens are pathetic with the exception of xx and maxx
and give me a break, its ok that you dont come out with 3.2 MP cameras, but at least ditch 1.3 MP? in the 2nd half of 06, i dont think 1.3MP will be selling well. And for those who praised samsung phones, you guys should take a closer look at the camera quality, the lack of Autofocus, the poor screen quality. The specs aren't everything. try using a new Samsung to take a photo closeup on text and try doing the same with an SE phone (even k750, which is more than a year old). And the fact that samsung phones cannot vibrate and ring at the same time is just pathetic. I love the looks of samsung phones though. They have the best looks by far (ie. e900). if only their quality can be better...

i wish motorola would stop rolling out these stupid wafer-thin phones! they're uncomfortable and unergonomic to hold, which makes it hard to use the keypad, and frankly they feel like they could snap at any moment! STOP IT!!

I don 't think thes new models from Motorola are less atractiv than Nokia, Samsung etc. considering the specs. for KRZR - 2Mpix cam. memory slot and likely although not mentioned bluetooth, are features adequate for all kind of users!
