This definitely is a much better entry level phone than nokia's. I just hope its priced competitively. Simple phone for simple people.

This phone just looks awesome! I hope the real thing will look just as good. I'd buy one! I heard that moto are selling them for around $40 bucks a pop!It will cost less as time pass by. Get one for the gym!

to the person who posted with no name. Just because this phone doesnt have what "you want" doesnt give you the right to say "this phone is bad" As i posted in my previous post. This phone seems to be targeted to the "Not so gadget crazed crowd". So if you have nothing beneficial to add please leave your remarks elsewhere.

This is a good idea for those who just want a basic phone with lots of style! That's just it--now you've got style! ;D

The fone is simply not up to my mind.i ll never ever even think of buying this fone.

I can't even imagine that how can somebody even digest the idea of aplauding this fone as the best of all, when it simply does not have any feature or anything else to compare to a lot.forget abt battery life or double antenna(rubbish excuses).
                        slim hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha dim.

                        truly a bad idea moto.
bad bad bad bad bad bad bad bad bad bad bad bad.........baaaaad

This looks like a pretty good entry phone for those who arent interested in a super rich feature phone, but want the basic premise down which is to make a call and recieve a call. It's nice to see that motorola is targeting the "not so gadget crazed crowd." Pretty smart move on thier part. I wouldn't mind keeping this as a back phone. As long as It does what it needs to do "Make and Recieve calls" that's all that really matters.

I think Motorola should invest in how to make a good reception phone rather than a slimmest phone. I've been using a lot of Motorola phones such as V400, V600, V3, U6, A1200. But all haven't given me a good reception. The signals they catch aren't stable.

If this FONE is 50$ I would buy one just for the hell of it, as backup or to borrow, battery life ought to be exceptionall and signal too thanx to double-antenna. Way to go MOTOROLA!!! I could keep it in my wallet hehehe...

i think motorola has proved with out question that an inexpensive phone need not be cheaply made or low tech. this is a perfect example of quality and high tech going hand in hand with economy. kudos to you motorola, way to go!!!
