Google's policy is only supporting a phone for max 2 years from the date the phone was released. So if you buy a Nexus phone after its launch date, you are getting less than 2 years support.

Just installed the official 7.0 on my Nexus 6, had DP5 before that... Let's see if it's any different. :)

Nexus 6 has 7.0 now. If you havnt gotten any OTA download the image and install from fastboot
