A corporate must have cell. No girly samsungish/iphonish cheap look. I think its the go-to device for every alpha male out there. Funny, women love to rock bold gadgets these days which is'nt bad in the slightest. Doesn't get better than this.

Sony mobile phones are extremely over priced with respect to their specs and with comparison with other brands for now specific reason, I understand SD820 and 3GB of ram an Bla Bla BLa, but take the Samsung's galaxy s7 for example, it have been announced ages away from the Sony xperia xz, and became available a month or tow after announcement, but Sony will take for ever their phones to be available for purchase and they will be out dated or even dead on birth.
The galaxy s7 has better specs; 5.2" 2k Super AMOLED screen, 4GB of RAM, 12MP Camera promoted as ahead of its time with fast auto focus... and so onof "PROMOTIONAL" stuffs, all of that for 550$ aprox on amazon if you can find a good deal.
The Sony Xperia XZ priced 700$ for inferior 5.2" FHD, 3GB of RAM, and the camera is a bit different 23MP phase detection and laser auto focus, I wont dive into Image quality of each phone camera, that's debatable, with minor difference between each phone.
That will make the die hard Sony Phones Furious, but I'm not a galaxy fan either, I'm just comparing some of the specs with respect to price, that's no doubt the profit charts of the Samsung galaxy are sky rocket higher, and Sony is losing money for every phone it makes.
Sony has lost the momentum along time ago since it has not innovated any thing all what they care about is $$$, but even though they don't making enough DOLLARS, They are doing it all wrong, they are living in the past age of glory, age of PlayStation 2, and the Collapsed SonyEricron, they are not planning for the future right, they are not thinking out of the box, Sony is on deep slop to bankruptcy and failure if they continue their p current path, Even Fan Boys will abounded chip $ony will sink alone in the deep sea of History, Like Nokia did.

The biggest feature for XZ is it's safer battery tech. Qnovo battery charging only sweeten the deal. Sony is the premium brand in the android world. Whenever you say you own a Sony phone people know that you own an expensive phone, the same can't be said about samesung phones. I think Sony's phones is a better buy than explosive samsung phones which are full of gimmicks. Xperia XZ is a solid phone with unique design. I wish Sony luck.

I don't see any reason to give that amount of money for this phone, when I can get the S7 Edge, HTC 10, OnePlus 3 etc.., for less money.

Sony pricing is more reasonable in price in compared with samsung as per my observation. Samsung tends to flood the market with different model but in the end it looks the same. No offence but the shape looks like a soap, while Sony's design tend to look like your working on corporate world.

Just bought my 2 months old Z5. I am planning to buy this thing, hopefully there will be freebies here in Qatar as it started selling already in UAE.
