Major retailers and carriers in the Netherlands have it in stock, and so does Best Buy in the US.

Anonymous, 06 Oct 2016I'll just put this here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3W... moreYup, theres tons of yt test videos about xperias excellent screens.
Dont know whats wrong with that grey fella tho, he obviously doesnt see it or doesnt want to see it, keeps talking over and over on that anand screen review as if those numbers there actually mean anything to the end user.
Go into store, turn up Xperia X, Xz, X compact screen and enjoy/examine it in person.
Its a marvellous screen beyond any doubt.

Just been reading your comments Grey1213 and have come to the well considered conclusion that you're a wierdo. Why would anyone care (or be so rude and stressful to others) about which manufacturer of phone a person prefers? Sink back into your sad life and leave others to make their own informed decisions about which products to spend their money on.

Also, the normal customer doesnt give a dime about these useless display benchmarks. Those are just for geeks. Normal people care about real life performance of the display, including brightness. Just because one finds the display of the Xperia X more better than that of an iPhone 6S, doesnt mean he is a fanboy. Thats just pathetic of you.
Its just like how AnTuTu or any other compound benchmark doesnt reflect real life performance of a device.
Not going to reply to these trolls anymore, their main objective is to bash Sony, and they are doing it well. Every Sony page, the same nonsense they tell.

Xperia X easily is the best LCD display, compared to iPhone 6S and LG G5.
S7 looks good although it is oversaturated compared to the rest. I think that's a good thing.
G5 absolutely performed poor, poor contrast and brightness.
iPhone was just good, but the X and S7 were better.
And many others in comments section agrees that Xperia X performed better than 6S and G5.
I don't mind these pointless display benchmarks, I care about real life performance.

"Seeing as how most people don’t have access to a few thousand dollars in display testing equipment, I don’t think this is a valid solution for display calibration the same way that Samsung’s Basic mode or HTC’s sRGB mode is."

"Moving on to our saturations test, it’s evident that Sony is targeting either a different gamut from sRGB or just using the native gamut of the display here as there’s fairly significant color error across the board. This occurs even with X-Reality and Super Vivid mode disabled, so I suspect the situation is even worse with either of those enabled. This wider gamut is quite noticeable as everything looks rather neon compared to something like the Galaxy S7 or HTC 10 with their calibrated modes. Basically the only color that is represented accurately here is yellow, and everything else suffers from significant oversaturation."

"Our next test is really where things start to go wrong to some extent, as the Xperia X out of the box simply doesn’t target grayscale well as the hue just isn’t correct with a noticeable deficiency of green and some blue shifting. This can be resolved with the display settings, but in the case of the Xperia X you just get a generic “color balance” slider for each color primary, and the slider is completely arbitrary."
The cold color temperature can be resolved by adjusting the white balance, as told above.
And AC's review does claim XZ has an impressive display.
I haven't see a review that complained about the XZ's display, except for PA. They claim the display is too blue. But PA is very well known for their biased reviews.

Point me to a reputable source, because so far every one I've seen has said its poor.
