It's cost of being number one cellphone maker. If cheap unknown cellphone made in Mainland China caught on fire, not much press care about it. It become big news because the "most expensive" cellphone now days made by "number one" cell phone maker,so people deserve to get safe and wonderful device. It is that make sense.
Do not blame anyone. Just waiting for investigation.

Looks like the apple controlled media Pr machine is going to keep this going till the Christmas sales period ends, hoping to destroy note 7 sales, and keep bad Samsung stories as near to the S8 as possible. It just shiws the weekness of apples current products, thats why they have a sales propaganda insert story a few spaces up from this one...subliminal eh.

Why it happens only in US and always when a Us brand launches a new product?
They are designed the same as let's say the Canadian variant..so why the hell they are just exploding in US?

Must be some design flaws in the Printed Circuit Board that nearby battery.
Samsung must discontinue N7 and solve all the issues and relaunch N8.

Samsung should altogether stop business with Note 7.... and concentrate on S8. The Note 7 would definitely further damage it's brand value and faith on it. It's hard to digest why a very successful company having more than 7 years of Mobile business is struggling with silly battery issues and that too for it's Note series. Samsung should take it's own time and come up with S8 next year.

And our house is full of their 'white' goods, and all very well built and reliable. Halogen cooker hob, fridge, Galaxy S5 (pretty good actually!). I did have two Note 4s of which both suffered proximity sensor failure and Samsung repaired them under warranty no questions asked, and from the forums, that is a major issue with the Note 4, a bit like this issue with the Note 7 battery. I do agree that Samsung have issues with specific products, but it seems to be limited to the Note series being they are very advanced and they have been rushed to compete with Apple. But this is not the case with their other products that are more mainstream so not 'rushed' to production that effects QA.
