      They ought to recall all Note 7s and forget all this mess.
      Whether you like it or not, hearing "Note 7" is equivalent to the term explosion.
      Better scrap it and just make it up next year on your S8 and Note 8.

            Quality controlling especially Battery quality {even for S.series}

              Anonymous, 07 Oct 2016There's to big a fuss about exploding Note 7... Every phone... moreNice to see a serious comment in this (excuse the wording) overheated debate. This is most likely something feed by competitors.

              To take ANY general action based on one unit seems hysterical. ALL brands of ALL type of devices makes faulty units from time to time. Even the simplest things like a spoon can be flawed...

              But sure if some neutral (governmental?) agency can take a stack of supposedly fixed devices apart and find that just one has the same (or similar) design flaw in the battery THEN it could make sense to talk about a second recall.

                samsung should just ditch the note 7 totally imo.

                    There's to big a fuss about exploding Note 7... Every phone explodes here and there.

                    Ok, the first series really had a faulty battery and its ok it was recalled, but the second one on the plane was probably old unit and after it exploded, the guy was lying about having new unit to remove blame from him. And even if it indeed was a replaced unit, it still shouldn't be recalled because, as I sad, every phone explodes here and there
