Had a chance to play with E7 last week. It's definitely my next choice, lots of improvements to N8, fast, magnificent screen and superb keyboard. Btw; on this E7 i also had a demo of "Track and Protect" , another must have. Check latest review on my-symbian to get my point..

Not best job done by journalist. Expansys posted the January 10th as estimated shipping date since the E7 has been introduced, which is several weeks ago. They just didnt change this estimation as it doesnt make sense until they know more exactly.

Microsoft placed strict restrictions on their mobile requirements ie. 1 GHz processor, 512MB of RAM. Microsoft's reasoning behind this was so that every mobile device using Windows 7 Mobile would be competitive towards what is currently out. Nokia could very well take the same approach to ensure that all their mobile devices are relative to what competitors push out. MeeGo requiring 512MB of ram might be a good thing. Since AMD and Intel are backing up MeeGO we may very well sell some powerful handsets out there in the near future.

E7 is a high end model so it needs lot more screen real estate than QWERTY form factor properly allows. I hate to even think editing excel sheets on blackberry. I didn't even think anyone would try to argue Torch over E7. E7 is so much better it's just ridiculous.
Oh well, I guess you are entitled to your opinion :)

ht... moretoo early to say that. The n900 actually has 1gb ram when the virtual ram is taken into account. It might just be able to run meego1.2.
And the n900 has was created back in 2009, dont expect it to run an OS which will be released in 2011. But there is a high posibility

Sails, 26 Nov 2010Right because the components aren't ordered half a year ahe... moreYou do know that SAMOLED yields are way lower than AMOLED yields right? Yet Galaxy S doesn't have a shortage problem. Wonder why is that? :) How many devices on the market use AMOLED? Not many. HTC uses SLCD in most of their devices now and have been using LCD before. That's rich you keep coming up with new justifications. Yes the world isn't perfect, in a perfect world Nokia would still be making huge profits and wouldn't have to change board members. They wouldn't have to design new devices because reiterations of their E71 would be good enough. Nokia isn't the only one who reiterates their phones ie: samsung, Motorola, HTC all do it too, however they reiterate phones that are able to compete.
