you went into your feelings you abandoned objectivity and went straight for subjectivity talking about things like preference smh
anyways seeing that your not very informed the leeco lepro 3 has a 4000mah battery in 7.5mm thickness that is a serious break through not to mention android has quick charge
but it is a real shame this could have been a healthy discussion but youve translated facts that android is ahead in hardware into : i must defend apple's name i must defend my personal experience, RIP this discussion

Suzx, 10 Oct 2016Dude actually the sd820 already is outdated Not accoding to the Qualcomm web site and who has anything signicantly better? The 821 is newer, granted, but the difference is very small indeed and barely shows on Benchmarks, let alone anything else.

Higher slimmer bigger batteries with higher energy density - what are you smoking?
NFC - the iPhone has had NFC since the 6
Wireless charging - useless!
Wireless charging - percentage of Android phones that have it??
Amoled panels - there are many screen techs - preference
Gorilla glass - same as above - preference
Ultrasonic fingerprint sensors - boy nothing beats the iPhone fingerprint sensor except maybe the Nexus 6P
Expandable storage - useless!
Don't get me wrong, I've used almost all the major Android phones you can think of. My last were the Note 5, Nexus 6P, Nexus 5X, HTC M9 in that order. I just started using an iPhone 6s about a month ago. Hoping to get the Pixel when it's available in my country.

The most perfect is the LG V20 because it has removable battery and an option to reduce screen resolution and framerate for games to improve gaming performance, save power and reduce overheating by reducing CPU/GPU usage.
The only new things that new smartphones could offer is even better normal and low light photo quality, and so fast CPU that I can run Left 4 Dead at least at 15 FPS in DosBox (Windows PC / x86 emulator).
The flagship smartphones from 2016 are very future proof. So a flagship smartphone from 2016 that has removable battery and LCD screen is the most future proof and it can last 10 years. (Those that have non-removable battery, they also could last 10 years only if they had removable battery. The battery lifespan is holding them back. And AMOLED screens burn in / colors become distorted in 1-3 years.)

and to make my point stronger lots of hardware implementations that apple is now utilizing android has had for very long such as Optical zoom, not to mention some hardware around the corner like ufs speed micro sd slots it is not an opinion that android is ahead in hardware it is fact hell android even has regenerative phone bodies and ceramic bodies as well

they does feel outdated because there are still plenty if needs in market witch no SOC delivers. imagine a phone with a noise which comes after another noisier model so no one will satisfy demands but noisier one is absolutely outdated.
Someone has a 2016 phone(any flagship): is its performance perfect?no
is its camera perfect?no
is its sound perfect?no
is its battery lasts long a perfect time?no
so is for 2017 flagships they will be better than 2016 phones but still not perfect.
a SOC affects all of features of a device and while devices are not perfect they will be outdated. but is there enough difference that makes 2016 flagships to buy 2017 ones? I seriously doubt it. i think after 2014 till now a 2 or 3 year switch seems more legit.
