Remember when the Note7 miserably failed the scratch test? Turns out it was inconclusive

10 October 2016
Just under two months ago, YouTuber JerryRigEverything released a video for the Galaxy Note7 regarding the durability of its glass. If you recall, the Gorilla Glass 5 scratched starting with the level 3 pick of Mohs hardness scale. This even provoked Corning to reassure that Gorilla Glass 5 is the same, if not more scratch resistant than Gorilla Glass 4 as per the company’s own laboratory testing.

Oh so it doesn't scratch anymore it just explodes? That's good. I liked the jab on the iPhone 7 at the end of the article. Guess what, I'm not scared for my manhood when I have my phone in my pocket. Any Note7 owners can say the same?

man enough to admit it and take it back?? so he is way better than sammy officials in the note 7 battery issues.

Huge respect for zac (jerryrigeverything). There are very few testers out there who can openly admit about their mistakes.

I was pointing out that it's a Gorilla Glass 5 scratch test and I'm pretty damn sure Note7 isn't gonna be the only phone using it so my opinion is totally not incorrect at all.

Like a second video on this really matters anymore? Rather have scratches on this phone than if it gave me and anyone else third-degree burns by doing nothing to it except charging or putting it on idle...

People keeping their Note7 is what I call arrogant and selfish irresponsibility for their safety and for others around them. Okay, so chances of it going to flames is small. But the more people own it and are around you, the more chances it might happen.

There will be a better phone with a better camera in less than six months. Let go of the Note7. An attachment to any material thing is quite laughable to me. Move on. You would have better luck with a Quija board. Bury the Note7 if you can. It is cursed forever.

Don't worry with a little self imposed heat from the device ... the screen will unscratch itself in no time! All you need to do is rub it when warm and bammo ... life is great!

Samsung should concentrate on his Tizen OS rather then Android platform because it's a hidden trick of Google's hidden update that making explosion in Note7. Google and Apple both are the main conspirators for this exploding. Google wanted to establish Pixel phones in market and Apple wanted to increase the iPhone sales. Americans ruling both companies to be empire of the world.

Watched the new video. That makes sense, poor Note7...
The brand deserves next iteration even though 7's battery exploded
