Samsung should refresh vetsion as Note 7x and increase RAM to 6GB, Memory to 128GB in order to compensate the time of customer waiting. It is almost outdated before having hands on it.

aatif khan, 11 Oct 2016With current scenario, I can guess following options ( in I... moreYou are misrepresenting the market, in India and many other asian countries only low end buyers look for dual sim, these are people from the lower classes and up to but not necessarily including lower middle class. You have to see the market from a much wider perspective than only "me and my peers like this and that so everyone else does too". If the demand for dual sim devices were as big as you think there would be a better selection of quality higher end dual sim smartphones, manufacturers arent stupid enough to let a giant market like india slip away so easily, if the need for dual sim was big the supply would be equally big. And, you dont see the single sim limitation stopping indians with good economy from buying iPhones now do you?

I think Samsung has done a good job owning up to the problem and trying to get the dangerous devices returned. It's called social responsibility folks, and for that I'll give them an A.
But yes, this phone is a disaster and I can't believe how many grey market resellers are still trying to sell their stock (these are the real a-holes).

With current scenario, I can guess following options ( in India only) in Android world for Note 7
With latest of hardware, preference can be as below in descending order:
- Xiaomi Mi5s siblings (due to sd821)
- One+3
- Nexus siblings / Honor 8
- Pixel siblings ( last preference)
Reason is simple, coz people in India look for - dual sim and value for money.
Xiaomi has high chances to gain more market share due to latest sd821, dual sim and price tag.
Nexus and Pixels do not have dual sim option. Yet pure breed lovers will prefer to some extent.

Anonymous, 11 Oct 2016Hard to feel sorry for Samsung. Greed and arrogance led to this. 100% agree. A very greedy company that rushed to release their phone before iPhone 7 without proper design and safety check. Even when the news first appear they wait weeks before involve the government agency. And now they are doing the Second recalling all because their low quality faulty phone which has fundamental design fault blowing up again. I don't feel a slightest bit of sympathy for such a greedy company. In fact I'll say -
Shame on You Samsung. Shame on Note 7 users who still refuse to exchange their phone despite knowing that their phone could harm other people. And shame on people who still keep defending samsung on this matter.

A phone should not burn under normal usage. That's including of putting it into your pocket, wallet, bags, charging it using Genuine charger, etc...
A good phone should also need to survive certain degree of outside pressure as well as temperature.

This is consider a good phone.

A lesson learnt the hard way by Samsung and Co.
profits were at stakes ....
faulty or not faulty batteries....
the company have to make a really compelling device at dirt cheap price to gain back the customers ..........
sammy fan boys can still pray for the expensive devices..........
Greed has got better of you
