Die hard Huawei fan here, i was never a fan of curved screens from Sh!tSung but i would try this out from Huawei, though i'm already in love with my Huawei P9.

If it were an Apple smartphone that looked like the curved version I would be seeing a lawsuit in advance but fortunately? They are using the Note7 looks to sell their device

The edge one look like note7 with out samsung logo. Very nice timing for huawei.

I love big screens as well... it's very easy to the eyes
Unfortunately, this device will be priced by retailers at around US$500 to US$600
That's quite expensive for a Chinese branded phone.....

Am always fond of large screens. My first Android phone was a Huawei Gaga. I can't tell how the company's UI has developed, but judging by the overheating Snapdragon 615 chipset I've been using, I'll give this Mate a try, that is if they'll use a 16-core GPU. That Mali MP4 is just crap.

Sony were the first to make smartphones waterproof. And btw LG were the first EVER to make a curved screen, with the LG Flex and OLED TV. Samsung just stole it from LG but curved it outwards instead of inwards.
