I don't think Samsung should change the Name of the device. All they have to do is fix the battery probem add some improvement make it better thant the NOTE 7 new features and go back to buisness Stronger than before but with The Legendary Name NOTE

Samsung caused there own problems with the Note phones,Note 4 seemed to be the Best one with the Removable Battery & micro sd card slot,but just because they thought they would gain iPhone users by not offering this on the Note 5 is was a Silly idea as the Sales were not a good like there Galaxy S6 model phones as well,They rush out the Note 7 just because of Apple going to release there New phones,Samsung should now bring back the Removable battery option on there Premium phones and Stop copying nearly everything Apple as to Offer and concentrate on pleasing its Galaxy phone users,as it cost them Loads of money lost and its there own Copying Apple

Just want to change name, it is not a big deal. Innovation, quality and safety more important than a name or series. They can change name as they like. I just wondering what is it? Galaxy Stylo/Stylus ooops LG already there. Galaxy Pen.., or whatever...
I own Note 5 as backup phone now. The last Note series, LOL
Google also abandon Nexus and start new with Pixel.

Note 7 it wasn't NOTE. It was s7 stylus. I'm still waiting for successor of my Note 4. With NOTE features:
- removable battery
- flat screen (5,7 or more)
- IR blaster
- microphones like in N4 for meetings recording

They should NOT abandon the "Note" brand. They should keep it. This is the proper name for that device. Note 8 can fix it's reputation.

Whatever any hater says, the Note7 was the perfect phone, too bad that it had to happen to them. It could had happened to any Manufacturer. I think it was a great move to stop production. I hope they give it a new name, and redo everything and shup up all the throlls that only come here to hate

I think Note line up is a brand that can't be destroyed by one failure!
They need to work on battery technology, it is great time to invest some money in that part of the phone!
Battery on phones are same since 10 years ago! technology hasn't been changed really around battery for phones.
It is time to make a heroic come back, with a new technology (and of course tested on prototypes) in battery. Make a Note lineup innovative again.
I don't own Samsung phone for couple years just because of the late software update on Android, but I still believe in them and I know most of their customers think in the same way as me.
