Report says Samsung will abandon the “Note” brand

Reports say that Samsung will no longer use the "Note" brand as it was tarnished by the recalls.

They did take a lot of design curs from apple. But their biggest offence for me is the pricing. Samsung are getting out of control with their price, especially with the now dead Note 7.

                          Galaxy pro maybe? It was aimed at productivity anyway.

                          But ATM they are just considering it. I'd say there is still a good chance they will keep it. Only 50% have a negative connotation right in the middle of this issue. By next August it would die down significantly. Plus it might seem deceitful for them to give the stylus phone with a different brand, and have the opposite effect if they're not careful.

                                No need to change the Brand Name "NOTE" regardless of the Failure of the Note 7. Note line will be one of the Best Line of Smartphone

                                  Erm... the Note is a looong way off being the "best-selling phone lineup" in the industry. Not sure if the Galaxy is "iconic" either. It's a collective term for a range of smartphones from cheap to excessively expensive.
