AnonD-549078, 13 Oct 2016I don't care if they call it Note or whatever, I just need ... moreSame in my case - I have a Note 4 (and Note 3) dual SIM phone and was about to buy the Note 7 with the replaced battery when the first problem with the new Note 7 surfaced on the internet and this made me stall.
I will (have to) wait for the next "Note" model with the stylus; incidentally I had also purchased the Galaxy Tab-pro S Windows laptop / tablet, hoping that Samsung would immediately release the (promised) pen which I thought would replicate the Note 4 stylus at least - but the released pen is nowhere close to the Note stylus.

Just by the time I convinced myself that I was "note" i will remain forever note. early buyer of note 7. I still has it. Maybe I will wait to see for s8. I hope they will have a 5,7" ou a 6" one. I am looking now for A9 pro. I dont know why Samsung and throwing everything on a 6" phablet. It might work well.

Note is one of the greatest phones ever. I'm using Note 4 at this moment. Was waiting for Note 7. I have a feeling - maybe someone helped with all those fires... I don't know who.., but recently I was eating apple... ;)
Ether way - I like "Note" name. And one day Note will rise from the ashes as a phoenix..., more powerful that ever... :D

"Report says". But i don't think that's going to happen. Manufacturing defects aren't new. Note is Samsung's baby. It redefined market with it. It forced Apple to follow it. Samsung has enough muscles, money to turn it around. And what good will happen by abandoning Note name for anything else? What will they say "Here's a new phone from us with Big screen and a S-Pen and its not Note."? Do you think Samsung thinks customers are this fool to buy it? Note will live. Samsung will make it live again. Did apple abandon iPhone name after Antennae problems? It redesigned the phone and came back. Samsung will do the same. All these reports are just published to get some hits!!

Its sad that these kind of news coming in almost every blogs,,, ,, am a big fan of Note & S-Pen, and hoping to get Note 8 with great features and spec in coming days.

I have been a Note fan since the first of its line and will always be. I will wait for the note to come again and I will buy without hesitation. We are human and science is a human experiment... so this error will be corrected and Samsung will move on and so will the Note get better. All the American Media thrashing Samsung can enjoy promoting their American iPhone... we love Samsung and will ever stick by it.

I don't care if they call it Note or whatever, I just need one. I love the stylus and the big screen, I have a Note 4 and wanted Note 7, Guess now I have to wait at least 1 year or buy a Note 5.
