Samsung should not eliminate the note brand or if it is essential,they can introduce a similar name with all note features,like "galaxy write",galaxy All, galaxy ultimate etc

They should rename their flagships like this:
- Samsung Galaxy 8
- Samsung Galaxy 8 Edge
- Samsung Galaxy 8 Stylus
(And release the stylus version later on in the year)

i'm still Waiting for the Note 7, so the battery was faulty, and the replacement battery was faulty again, just fix the issue so that we can have the Note already.

I don't care about name. But they must get rid of their heavy TouchWiz UI and use lightweight one. Or optimize it to work smooth and don't lag.

I don't think they will. I think they killed the Note7 especially so they wouldn't have to do this. The Note line is the flagship for Samsung for 5 generations now.

I think they should name it Galaxy Pro, or Galaxy Pad, or Galaxy Premium. Honestly, I don't think there is a name that can replace Samsung's Note branding. The name is just perfect for the smartphone.

Surface/premium/whatever as long as it got pen I think. But for sure not S8 edge plus pen. Make it simple. While they are at it, why not also change OS to own and add some AI assistent.

Noooooo! I love the note line and I have been using a note ever since its release. And sincerely, the Note7 is the best phone I never had. 😭😭😭

That's what happen if samsung would continue to copy Apple's greediness in terms of profit. They sped up releasing Note7 thinking people will run out of money and will not be able to buy iPhone7. Tsk tsk.

Samsung is right, many people have nicknamed Galaxy Note 7 as Samsung Fail or Galaxy Fail. However ditching Note brand will not improve consumer trust, other actions will do that.

I love the note series. Its a travesty note 7 didnt live up to the vibe.I think the next galaxy note 8 should be renamed galaxy JD...where JD means jot down.

If samsung Kill note line its mean sam sunglasses kill our our trust our wait our love for note series I love note series I use all note expected note 1. What happened to note 7 it's a just bad luck for all. As a Samsung user I want samsung forget it and now concentrate to note 8 bcoz many of us wait for note series every year I use note 7 1 month and I love it . I did not got any problem. but after death of note 7 . We are waiting for note 8. If they stop note line so we stop use samsung
