DenisXD, 20 Oct 2016im a nokia fanboy? That's strange considering I have the so... moreLOL. The most EASY way to END an argument.
Look, I don't care if u use SONY, Nokia, or WTF brand it is,
my point is, U are talking BULLSHIT...

Nokia phone called durable? Yes, it was in the early 2000, when they launched big, fat, ugly monochrome phones & 4096 color basic phones.
After that? Since the release of Nokia 7650, Nokia device are HARDLY DURABLE.
Short-lived flexible, random restart, camera problem, and so much more.

Using ur logic, I NOW using Xiaomi Mi Max, but does it have to do with ANYTHING with fanboyism? Person who defending & overrate a certain brand is called FANBOY, it hardly matters whether u STILL or WAS use those brand's device or not...

I was only stating the fact from my own user experience, and u are denying it with DUMB statement, so it's my right to say WTF with ur logic?

AnonD-564674, 19 Oct 2016"most phones are easy as pie to break just with one drop" ... moreim a nokia fanboy? That's strange considering I have the sony z5.
Ah I know.. just because i happen to point out that nokia phones are durable, im automatically a nokia fanboy. Wtf is this logic?

DenisXD, 19 Oct 2016Yes! Nokia was all about camera phones and durability, they... more"most phones are easy as pie to break just with one drop"

I once have 5800 XM and accidentally slip from my breast pocket to the asphalt road.
Know what happens? IT BREAKS as easy as pie. The touchscreen broken, even after get fixed, the signal reception got messed up. Then, whenever I got "no service" message, the device ALWAYS restart.

Is that what u call "durability", fanboy?
BTW, most of Nokia camera, except the EXPENSIVE ones which have Zeiss, SUCKS.
      I own 5800 XM, E63, E65, N70, 3650, 6600, and ALL (except 5800) SUCKS

Amir, 17 Oct 2016This is I think the point of view for all Nokia followers: ... moreYes! Nokia was all about camera phones and durability, they should stick to these in order to be in game. Mind you most phones are easy as pie to break just with one drop, it would be great to see nokia coming back with a snapdragon 820 beast, inside an armoured like luxurious nokia branded phone!

AnonD-564674, 16 Oct 2016Well, in early 2000, where Nokia rules smartphone world, no... morehow can nokia fooled us back then?
People weren't asking for ram, bigger screens etc because they weren't important. Sony Ericsson had stuck to 320x240p screens on their flagships until late 2008, when nokia already had moved to 640x480p screens. Also nokia was also from the 1st companies moving to 16m colour screens. Wtf are you talking about?
Do some research before spreading bs, nokia was moving forward. It was that Sony Ericsson used to rule back then, even with 320x240p screens.
Sony Ericsson used to rule because of cyber-shot and walkman phones (mind you Sony Ericsson c905 still has the upper hand in terms of capturing quick motion, even in low light! W550 is still is the loudest phone ever made with 3 speakers, creating a surreal surround very loud sound), nokia had no named phones, with the exception of their music centered phones.. umm what were they? Ah yes, xpress music!

So you clearly see that Nokia was still in game and used to play good, even against Sony Ericsson.

Samsung didn't even had a name back then mate, they were nobodies.

And nokia planning to come back with a 13.8 inch tablet at $300??

AnonD-514461, 16 Oct 2016I know that feeling, even i'm one of those crazy nokia fan o... moreWell, in early 2000, where Nokia rules smartphone world, no people talk about "OS upgrade", "Bigger RAM", "Bigger ROM", "Bigger screen", "Sharper screen resolution", "faster processor", "faster GPU", or "bigger battery capacity, because we are ALL SHEEP, similar to iSheep, which can only "accept" whatever our favorite phone makers make and say.
In short, No Question asked. U want, then buy, don't want, go elsewhere.

But, since 2008 when Google introduced Android OS where "OS update" is a guarantee and HUGE sums of quality apps on the Market available for FREE, people suddenly "wake up", saying:

"Why the hell did we buy Nokia 'crap' who NEVER offer OS update, no free Symbian apps, no apps Market, "stingy" display size, "cheap" display technology, and "penury" screen resolution, added with "meager" battery capacity up till now?"

And then, there goes Nokia "potential(ly fooled)" customer, looking for a device which offer MORE FEATURE at the same price, even lower.
I remember vividly when they say "It's impossible to make a 16 million color touchscreen, moreover at big screen size, as it needs considerable amount of battery to run it" crap. Inreality, they just don't want to BOTHER introducing newer & better display technology as well as giving bigger battery capacity, as those all cost them a HUGE amount of money, therefore become a HUGE pain in the ass, when Samsung can present the "impossible" AMOLED display, thus revealing their bullshit.

And then, after several LONG years FOOLING people into believing what they make and what they said, in the end, they too be FOOLED by MS into SELLING THEIR SMARTPHONE business division!

                    Serves u right, NOKIA!

Hope u learn ur lesson of not too FOOL us again, EVER!

But, Nokia's brand, albeit "lost"for 3 years, are very well-known and widely used over the world, especially in my country (Indonesia).
Heck, even my mom, when buying a new phone, choose to buy Nokia Asha phone over other brand that offer more features at lower price!

This kind of 'consumer' is what Nokia expected to be their potential D1C buyer, because Nokia fanboy is SIMILAR in nature with iphone fanboy, "whatever CRAP my IDOL create, I WILL DEFINITELY BUY IT, NO ROOM FOR DEBATE". You can take a look at previous Nokia devices, many of the are CRAP (especially Nokia 6600 Music Edition) sold at INSANE price. Yet, people still willingly give their money to Nokia for this crap, take "pride" in owning that crap, and will argue anyone that dare to abashing those crap or Nokia's "way of doing things".

Now, the BIG question is, does Nokia will become the "second coming of Apple" in TRUE sense, OR they will learn their lesson after being made a "DUMB LOSER" by MS?

As far as I know from reading many info in the internet, Nokia choose to produce their phone in China, in this case Taiwan, because the production cost, as well as hardware cost is VERY CHEAP.
With this, Nokia, with their limited money, can focus more on software side, VERY MUCH like Apple, then SOLD D1C at ILLOGICAL PRICE, for gathering production cost of their next device.
See why their first "comeback" device have such a 'crap' specs? to get money AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE by selling device produced AS CHEAP AS POSSIBLE.

I willing to bet my money that Nokia D1C is at least TWICE the price Redmi 3s offers.

Not only that, bluetooth headset means battery-powered headset. Do u think people (except u) want to go somewhere with that kind of headset while bringing the charger? I OBVIOUSLY DO NOT WANT THAT

Last, see why most EXCELLENT earphone / headphone comes with WIRE? Wire technology is CHEAP, WIDELY USED, and can be REPLACED easily when damaged. Moreover, sound reproduction delivered from WIRE is still very much BETTER than bluetooth.

So, I SAY BIG NO for another 'iphone 7 wannabe', as the ONLY ONE PROFITED will be the manufacturer itself. If wireless headset have BETTER SOUND REPRODUCTION, NO EXTERNAL BATTERY, CHEAPER, and WIDELY AVAILABLE, people (including me) will willingly move on to wireless.

Another evidence: have u ever wonder why ur phone charger & most of phone available today still COMES IN WIRE EVEN THOUGH IT'S ALMOST 2017?

The best way u can get is Asus Padfone series released from 2012-2014, which is a phone with a docking station for productivity & entertainment use.

Anyway, Nokia is still in 'testing the water' phase now, that's why Nokia won't release 'cost-consuming' Android device, as their money for manufacturing phone is limited.
My guess is, they will release D1C as upper mid-range Android PHONE, to get AS MUCH PROFIT AS POSSIBLE, then upping their game later on, just like what they did in early 2000, with Symbian OS.
