Samsung showroom(UAE) is not refunding for note7... they forcing to exchange with s7. How can they force? I have already s7 and now a days its going cheaper and less valuable mobile. And what will i do with 2 s7 and even i cant sell as its now cheaper. Even how can they force to choose mobile for exchange. Bloody shit!!!
If they do like that then i will never buy any samsung mobile.

here in philippines they wont accept your Note 7 if you buy it in ebay singapore. they will let your note 7 explode if you buy it in other country they wont accept it even if you say ALL Note 7 must be replaced/ Global Recall they still want note 7 that came from Philippines.

If we replace with any other samsung phone we are provided with 250$ credit (with atleast vodafone i can say)

Will stay with samsung..using it since Galaxy S2 to S4..only recent to Note 7.
Note 7 is still the best android phone ever, it has all the tools i need. From S pen to the expansion memory card slot which i can easily get one even though the basic phone has a built in 64gb.
Will swap to S7 edge till the new note to release, hopefully will have the same design with add on feature.
Iphone is good but not as great as note7 can do.

Samsung UK are in complete disarray. This article paints a picture of Samsung being very accommodating - I have called three times and failed to speak to anyone who had any facts about how to return the device (safely) for a refund/replacement. In fact, today I asked to speak to a help centre manager and the agent refused..saying "My Manager has said you will just have to wait like everyone else until we call you back". 3 weeks now and no call back, and every time I call they have no record of my previous call. Shocking...I've spent £1000 on Samsung stuff in last 2 months and it's all going back asap. One faulty product line is one thing, not efficiently working with customers to enact the actual recall is quite another. Just ordered an iPhone7.

No that would be a refund, the extra $50 say inconvenience so used to buy another Samsung peripheral e.g. Earphones.
So many in this region swap for S7 Edge, but it has been a fact that the Note range is a tweaked Galaxy that comes with a stylus
The other article states 46% would not buy another Samsung.
I really don't know how the Pixel would fill this gap with only 32 & 128Gb models and NO memory expansion, a flagship Google 'iPhone'
What I have noticed is that with each upgrade, the phone can support a higher capacity memory card and that bigger Gb memory card cost less than memory card I had bought 2 years earlier.
If people opt for another brand, I bet it will be for a brand will have memory expansion, albeit yet to be released a 128Gb memory card will cost significantly less than the

Samsung is not bullying any one as per this article. They still have the free will to choose whether to remain with Samsung or to move on! If they remain with Samsung the customers get the gift cards and other benefits. Please understand the article before you comment something that is the opposite of what is written. Thanks.

I don't get the complaints about the Samsung gift cards. You get to spend it on Samsung products which is better than just getting a cash card refund.

in my country you are forced to replace it with another samsung phone and no refund for price gap. samsung priority were USA,EU and KOREA but in asia samsung after sales not good. samsung throws defective charger in asia, my friend s7 charger heats when charging as for me i move away from samsung and trying every phone brand

Not only that but they are also refunding all accessories purchased. There is no wrong doing by Samsung here. Its a unfortunate incident indeed but Samsung has done everything they can to make this right.

US/EU countries have strong... moreIn the PH, even in the first round of recalls, they actually already allowed people to switch to other manufacturers. I just stayed and waited for the replacement and even got a gift card and some stuff and was able to keep all the original accessories of the first package and was given another set c/o the replacement package (earphones, chargers etc). Im yet to return mine now the second time so wont know if they would allow me to still keep the accessories. :)
