Geezz so many haters here and if you think about it a little, they all had a Nokia once. Back in the day if you had one you were the man, but if you had Samsung people would laugh at you for buying cheap Asian plastic :))
Oh and one more thing: how can you compare Symbian with Android or iOS?? Symbian existed LONG before those two. Yes, it is obsolete, but it's like comparing a '70's Mercedes with today's models.
Get some perspective before blabbering nonsense..
The true killer of Nokia was Microsoft. If they would of gone with Android instead of WM, people today would be: Samsung? What's that?

this company launches the legendary mobiles like NOKIA 3310.
Just look at the market graph before android.
AND now he is back with NOKIA D1C as its launching date isn't conformed yet but as soon as they launch it will be a disaster in the mobile world.

But Nokia could easily be revived by Finland.
If they try with own OS again, though, they will be under HUGE US attack again.

well currently they are developing grahene based camera smartphone sensors .. they are very much investing in vr .. heard of OZO camera ? then they have digital healthcare wearable. products

Nokia never was and might never become big in USA and Canada .. but in Europe and developing countries it still holds enormous brand value..
blackberry's failure is because their USP was physical qwerty keyboards and appeal to business executives .. which has become a niche market now... they launched a good phone in form of blackberry priv but it failed because of absurd pricing.. just why sony is failing as well.. pricing more than Samsung... Nokia will fail too if they price competitive products more than Samsung ...
but Nokia is smart if Nokia N1 tablet pricing is any indication ...

What differentiates Nokia phones from phones nowadays was:
1- they actually had a " soul" and were NEVER boring, nowadays phones are all the same black square slabs( Nokia tried to make this slab lively with the Lumia line, wich were the most beautiful slab design ever, as they tried to bring colours to a world dominated by black Iphones and Galaxys)
2-Nokia phones survive the test of time, even with all the bad handling they can get. You see, all my Nokia phones are still working (Nokia 6500 classic,Nokia C3-00 and Nokia E51).
A modern day phone get destroyed by a some drops and bad handling.
What differentiates Nokia from the rest of the competition? Well, Nokia was and is STILL a "human" company, at least they are more "human" than all the mobile phones companies these days.
I ain't saying Nokia is perfect , they made TONS of mistakes, but they stayed true to their values.
Actually, Nokia was able to scribble itself into the people's hearts, and i hope they can make the same thing with the new generation.
