I am looking forward for this device.
Due to keyboard, I am still using my Q5. Even after 3 years it's working fine. I am not worried about WhatsApp and Facebook. I use BBM.
But I will have to change someday. So this one will be the choice.

AnonD-599201, 18 Oct 2016Anticipating discontinuation of whatsapp moved to Cat60 and... moreI also moved from BB to Android (Xperia Z5 compact). Can't say I'm enjoying the switch but I installed the Disa app which goes some way to mimicking the BB Hub. I found the official BB Hub for Android wasn't quite up to full functionality yet and had some strange quirks.

Anticipating discontinuation of whatsapp moved to Cat60 android. Finding it so difficult to work. No speed dial, cannot open multiple applications without stopping the other. Eagerly awaiting BB with qwerty keyboard. Was planning to go for DTEK60 now will wait.

This is a great news for all the blackberry keyboard fans. Blackberry failed miserably with its software and apps improvements and it appears they kept blaming it on the keyboard however after stepping in the android world I believe bringing back the keyboard will be the right thing to do. I truly wish this happens soon.

physical keyboard is a great addition, specially for me, i have 2 phones, full touch screen for internet and games, and one for txting which is a non touch screen phone, the reason for that is i always miss type something when im using touchscreen phones, maybe my thumb is too big for touch phones.. im looking forward on buying this if it turns out to be great

Ruel-c, 18 Oct 2016I hope there will be a successor to the Blackberry Priv, I ... moreI do too, but do not count on it. See their own posting on the matter
http://blogs.blackberry.com/2016/10/the-future-of-blackberry-devices/
As I put in the comments there, I think our best hope is a solution with a standard device with a removable backplate, where the backplate gets interchanged with either a slider or a magnetic holder for a keyboard (see images of what I made for the Ip6-).
