Xiaomi Mi Note 2 allegedly photographed: one camera, curved screen

So much for the bezel-less design and dual-camera setup... unless this rumor also proves to be false.

      premium $845? No thanks.
and please stop that curved screen madness.
(although, i admit that in a device WITHOUT a stylus, it's less of an issue)

For example while gripping your phone and viewing a web page, if you roll your palm in onto the screen it's completely ignored. You can still use another finger to scroll, where as if the palm was detected it would zoom and twitch if didn't like the bulk. However if you place your palm directly on the screen it detects as a touch, no twitching, great for dirty fingers..

I bought a Galaxy S7 (non Edge) last week, and whilst it is a superb phone (fastest and most capable I have ever owned, although I wanted a Note 7!), and whilst the screen is not as curved as the Edge or this Mi Note 2, the slight curve and the narrow bezel means I am constantly having issues with the phone registering that my hand is touching the screen, and therefore causing problems with selecting things, typing or even having apps or other on screen controls launching or activating without me wanting them to.

I have ready about this effecting the Edge far worse. Although the curves on any phone make it look nice, it has NO benefit in end use. A far more sensible idea would be to have n LG V10/V20 type secondary non touch display along one or both edges, but at a hard 90 degrees, like on the spine of a book. Then you could display data (time/date/messages etc) but there would be no risk of the hand activating the main display.

AnonD-442781, 19 Oct 2016The note 5 is the same as the note 4, just with glass. Not at all, Note 4 was very old school. Plastic, all 4 edges were rolled and fake textured leather surface.

@someone is actually right the image are not true camera space from top is different in both images and the back also does not look like that of a flagship phone..
Even the Mi 5S Plus had dual camera so Mi Note 2 which is a higher flagship by-default has dual camera..

Someone Else, 19 Oct 2016It's A Galaxy Note 7 with round camera tbh.If that's the case then the Galaxy Note 5 (Aug 2015) copied the Xiaomi Mi Note (Jan 2015). Xiaomi also managed to use an original 3D chamfered frame since the Mi5 where Samsung's is based on a certain fruit with it's bulging frame with thick antenna lines.
