Raj S, 19 Oct 2016Indian customers are buying your products, but Xiaomi, you ... moreRelax man! Just be patient.
Let them test their latest product in their home country at least 3 months. If it is safe, and good they will sell to your country first and then somewhere else.

Looks like everyone is reaping from the Note7 disaster.

Xiaomi TROLLS 1M customers in India in just 18 days, CEO celebrates.

Pathetic after sales support coupled with recent anti-China rhetoric might slowly but surely turn Xia-omi to Jao-mi.

AnonD-442781, 19 Oct 2016But the mi 5 cracks like a fortune cookie. In all fairness ... moreThe Nexus 6P breaks under the same unrealistic force too. It doesn't mean it's a bad phone all it means is the phone is not designed to withstand stupid usage. Regular usage won't exert sharp bending force to the phone.

Indian customers are buying your products, but Xiaomi, you are not releasing latest products in india, which you release in china.
So please be more respectful to indian customers.

In all fairness phones aren't usually under that sort of pressure, but most phones don't bend like that, and it is indicative of poor attention to hardware. Yes, all phones are produced in China, but Chinese branded ones may choose to use lower quality parts. Huawei has great quality hardware, so does zte and Oneplus. But xiaomi seems to be worse.

[deleted post]Have you tried Xiaomi products? They are not of cheap quality. They are cheap due to everything from processors to display is made in china and assembled in India.
Just find out what parts of high quality products like samsung s7, lg g5, lg v20 and htc 10 have some things(mainly processors) which are made in china. I don't think they are of cheap quality.

redmi 3s,3s prime and redmi note 3 would probably share almost 60-75% of the 1 million phones sold, thanks to its amazing pricing and value for money!
the big billion day and great indian festival are also one such reason to achieve this milestone in less days!!
                    GG xiaomi!!

People prefer xiaomi for its intial built quality and specs and most who don't like miui, already shift to custom roms , only sad part is the after sales but then at such low prices you can't expect Samsung level support!

When one can't sell in home land, ie china, one go to india.

After buying, you will find out that either you won't get update or will get buggy updates of miui.
And android version won't be updated, for eg. redmi note 3.

Not to mention faulty and low quality hardware used.

Great move, India loves it while china has already rejected it.
