You said that you want a smartphone that you can connect to a HD screen in two years to use as a mini pc, i give you the n8 can c7 which can do just that and you dont need to wait two years. You questioned whether it is practical and usable, i show you the features.

your just putting yourself back to square 1.

I'll repeat it again to a Nokia fan:
I'm sure that using more cores more memory bigger screen resolution today, - forces ahead the speed of technological progress. And company that stopped on 600 MHz and 256MB RAM is simply trying to slow technological progress down, to get more money from customers by selling yesterday's toys, using marketing and and fairytales about superior OS (I'm talking about Nokia and Symbian)
I want my mobile phone from two years by now, to be powerful enough to connect it to High Definition Screen screen on my desk and a keyboard, and to use it as a main computer.

palm pre 600mhz and now 1.2ghz
                          milestone 600mhz and 1.1ghz

                          same thing

but look how long it took them

nokia did this within months of release the 5800
369mhz - 434mhz and added it with in the firmware

but that will kill more battery using more juice so why do that if most people are concerned about how long they can use their phones for

so why put speed over battery usage ....that's stupid

                                        as real phone fanatics know
                                        that symbian doesn't need
ARM cortexA8 or snapdragon CPU running at 800mhz or 1ghz
with 512 - 1gb of RAM to run fine

as you can see 434 was ok
                                        600 was good
                                        and 680 is amazingly fast

plus the A8 would just burn battery durning it's downclock time
which nokia want for the users

that's why they are using ARM11
it still is really efficient with symbian AND SYMBIAN ALONE
