The specs (rumored on twitter) are 1.2 ghz processor (not sure which) with up to 130 million triangles/sec (god knows what gpu did they use), 1600mAh battery and loads more of goodies.
By right the n8 should be old news by now, but i'm not surprised that it is still very popular till today :)

meego is a full flegged netboo... moreI already explained you that Nokia lacks technical progress, engineering, programming, and vision of future. They're simply trying to cash in on yesterdays technologies, marketing it as the edge of technological development.
If you choose to miss my point, it's your very own business, but as I explained already, while Apple(iOS) and LG, Samsung (Android) preparing dual core mobile phones to be released in few months, engineering genius of Nokia managed only to put 12MP camera on their flagship phone - with outdated processor, RAM, OS(Symbian).

I have used Andriod & Apple -(galaxy S and Desire & I phone 3GS) well poor batterylife, performance slows down within a month, have to switch off most of the common features like 3G, Live updates, bluetooth, turn the brightness to minimum, poor sunlight visibility, have to keep killing the tasks else the phone will slowdown further......and had to carry the charger along with me always, whats the point of having a fancy looking interface ...with Nokia i dont have all these problems ....

onboard GPS or touchscreen interface for cars
you can't tell me nokia is going backwards

first phone to have the biggest camera lens
that can replace a digital camera and rival a DSLR
first phone to have USB-OTG
first batch to have BT 3.0
i honestly don't see any backwards in that
and look everything is up today except the CPU like i said
and it's even 4G ready lol
i bet you didn't know that
nokia even invented CBD which rips apart every screen in direct light viewing angles
........just because they have an older CPU doesn't mean anything at all

Android requires so much speed and RAM that
most phones became obsolite
cause of the hardware issue
and even the battery will become a problem again
and with iOS go look at a bathroom and color the tiles a different colour and there is your OS
plus symbian will look different next year in feb with the full symbianOS update
so no one can't really say anthing for now
atleast they have widgets which i actually prefer
and solid multitasking
just install ubuntu 10.10 on your desktop as a dual try it out it takes 5 minutes to install and you'll see what i mean with
symbian not really needing hardware that's the minimum requirement to play crysis on your desktop

Like Nokia with original mobiles, they made the first friendly UI for touch screens and much like Nokia a lot of their success is down to that first mover advantage. Nokia's reputation is lowering by the day as phones become far more software focused, giving Apple and Google a much larger headstart. It's a shame, but this is the future.

Apple(iOS) & Samsung (Android) prepare 2-core mobile phone for the Summer release, and, on other hand, Nokia managed to put in it's best phone with outdated processor and RAM size - the whole 12MP camera??? WOW!!!

yeah, 06 Dec 2010actually pixon 12 has both xenon and led. We might not know... morei guess cause the sensor in the lens can already pic up enough light in night mode and on automatic while recording
trust me it pics up lot of light cause of the size of the lens

But still, you're right, android phones don't need that crap with 12MP camera on board.
How important are those 20 pics per year, that you will take in your everyday life with your 12MP camera? It could be 100MP camera, and it sill won't make a huge difference from 5MP camera.
All that mumbling from Nokia about "...12MP camera, zenon flash,..." - is only marketing trick to sell outdated phones with outdated software, that Nokia phones are, under the hood.
If i want a good digital camera, I'll buy Canon for £100. It's far better than Nokia, it's 5 times cheaper than Nokia, and I can use it abroad when traveling, 'coz I won't take my mobile phone abroad due to safety reasons and roaming charges, anyway.
Apple (iOS), Google (Android) marching forward, looking into the future, while Nokia walks backwards holding to past, and it is understandable, taking in account Nokia's lack of engineering, technological progress, design, forecasting.
When marching backwards, just like Nokia does, you won't see much of the future.
