Anonymous, 09 Mar 2017I switched back to my trusty little iPhone se mainly becaus... moreHehe, that's exactly what I'm doing, i.e. selling G4 and claiming back my old iPhone 5 from the missus. There are things that I actually quite like about the G4. However, security is my primary concern so no more Android for me untill the security updates are sorted out.

I switched back to my trusty little iPhone se mainly because it's only really security features I care about.
The Moro G4 has now gone but that doesn't mean it was a bad phone just not as updated security wise for my liking.

Updated last night to 7.0 in the UK. However, it's the 1 Dec 2016 security patch! Pathetic! Too late and too little. No more Moto for me.

Downloading and installing now.
I'm in the UK with a Motorola retail dual SIM G4 Plus (1642).

Just got the UK update, evening of 8 March 2017. It took about 45 minutes in total to download and install.

My Moto G4 Plus was bought unlocked last August 2016 from Motorola UK.
Goodness, at long last. Lenovo, you need to do much better than this...It has taken far too long, especially for a Motorola phone, originally the first to update before you guys took over
