Android 7.0 Nougat update starts hitting Motorola Moto G4 and Moto G4 Plus

This is frustrating, I got a Moto g4 plus after reading Motorola will update it to Android 7 in 2016, it was postponed a few times and now we are well into 2017 and still no update for my phone or official comment from Motorola (or at least none that I could find)... Very disappointing, so much in fact I'm seriously considering upgrading to a different phone instead of waiting for the update...

Let me know how's your Moto G4 plus after performing factory reset. Also uncheck the automatic restore from the backup option while starting your factory reset. Moto ppl doesn't recommend automatic restore. They asked me to install every app as like when yu bot this new phone.

hii i recently bought Moto g4 plus(32gb) from amazon. got the phone on 2 february. In setting it says android 7.0 how is that possible? does the new moto g4 plus devices already coming with nougat update?

I'm facing lot's of an issue after update nougat version in moto g4 plus
The list includes:
1. Draining battery with 3 hrs , Mobile gets over heated soon
2. While charging, mobile gets over heated
3. Slow performance , while tries to open any app
4. Couldn't able to add wallpaper
5. Even unlock the mobile takes time
6. Hanging often
