Vibrant does have froyo, I am enjoying it on mine, and it offers great battery life, and improved performance (although not by much, but now games don't lag) but the guys at xda can easily port gingerbread from this to my vibrant as the same hardware exists so no problems should arise.

On other hands, it's Nokia+Symbian fans flooded Google+Adroid threads. Why? There's only one logical explanation: Nokia is sinking, and it's sinking fast.

Anonymous, 07 Dec 2010You must be pretty slow minded because Apple will have to c... moreThere's no phone out in the market with a dual core processor. And if that's the case, then better. Because that will push Apple to even go for a dual core iphone5. You cannot say that the iphone4 is outdated when it still has features that are unmatched, like its gyroscope integration, its retina display, its thinness, its apps, its HDR integration. The iphone still has the best music player. So how can you say it's outdated? Unless you are comparing the iphone to phones that are not yet released, lol. Then that would be plain dumb :-)

Don’t worry about nokia fans, world over nokia phones are selling like hot cakes.

You buy this phone and other phone as well, and enjoy not getting any updates, hanging and crashing on these models as well.

There are 1.2 million apps on the store for you so download ALL OF THEM all to together at one time on your laggy phone.

Nokia phones give whatever is required and in the best way it can. Nokia N8 is having some teething problems and recuperating from it. Don’t worry.

You want to root your phone and download stupid apps on your phone and then brag about it being a micro second faster than other phones then please do. But understand that it’s of no use. You are not going to miss the bus in that time nor will you be able to process something in that much time.

                        So chill.

Enjoy your phone, it is for sure a great device and i am also looking to have it as my second phone.

But the first one will always be nokia.

And yes wait for MEEGO :-), i might change my mind for second phone.

                        Cheers

One thing I don't understand is why it still only has a 5MP camera.

Why not upgrade it to 8MP> Even the X10 has that though it only runs 2.1

Well this phone sounds dandy and all, but is it worth upgrading from the nexus one? On the hardware side it doesn't seem to be a huge leap from the N1 plus I'm sure they will roll out the gingerbread on n1 pretty soon too. Maybe I'll wait until there's a dual core cpu phone, if that's happening anytime soon; as my contract is up in less than a couple of months.
