      Oh my god.
Finally, afters years of copy, Xiaomi put DESIGN on the table.

Let's be honest, Design was, all thoses years, the only things which missing from Xiaomi, and most chinese devices.

Chineses Devices, Especially Xiaomi's one have already everything but design !

The software which copy ios and the Hardware which copy Apple/Samsung was the truly, and maybe the only weak of Xiaomi's phones.

But it's look like the Company finally get the fact a true flagship need it's own design.

      I already have a phone, it's an Apple iPhone 7 Plus 256GB.

But i definitely will buy this.
Even if need to go to the factory.

Even if it's doesn't support 4G bands of my country.

Borderless screen with All ceramic body and 18K gold accent, designed by Phillip Starck ?

This is more than a phone this is some Tech Art.

Still can't believe my eyes... When did smartphones become so OP? 256gb, bezeless, 4400mAh, Snap821 and other flagship stuff, gold plating (honestly what a waste tho, that gold prolly will never be recycled), leather casing included for $500+? Man I just got my phone yesterday...

Hence it has almost bezeless display, they could have reduced its size below 6", then this could be my 1st Mi phone...its amazing concept indeed if not for the size.

Anonymous, 25 Oct 2016Am I the only one that remembers the Sharp Aquos? Xiaomi ju... moreIt's the first attempt, available only in Japan, but way behind in tech. The Aquos has a 78% screen to body ratio & every time you answer the call you have to turn the phone upside down where the ear piece resides along with the proximity sensor and front cam. The MIX has fixed two of these issues where the whole phone becomes the ear piece and the proximity uses Ultra Sonic sensor through the screen. Also the Aquos wasn't as thin and sexy being almost completely covered in ceramic.

When they said "concept", they ruined their credibility. What does "concept" mean ? "Let's release a drawing of a non-working phone before Samsung and Apple launch their new flagships, so we can say we are the first" ?

I think bezeless displays aren't practical. What if your fingers touch unvoluntarily the screen while holding the phone? That could be a bit awkward.

Finally! The '' Almost '' Perfect Phablet I've been waiting for for nearly 6 years!!
                    Thank you Xiaomi!

NOO, 25 Oct 2016it has poor ram managementI differ in opinion.
MIUI may be modified version of android, but it is still better and one of 'lighter' than any other out in market. Ram management is equally good.
I have been studying the Xiaomi phones ( with hands on experience) for most of models. Average usage of ram is around 60% ( including their 200&400 series SoC models)
Performance is way better than Samsung when compared to price tags it carry.

A specific reason I could not be interested in the Mi Max was its lack of "USB C", its nice to learn it's present in this!!

But why hamstring a phone with otherwise cutting-edge specs with a 1080P display? I.Just.Don't.Get.It.

There was a joke, Chinese copy, but without brains. But now I must admit they have come of Age, and latest Cpu, Gpu all innovative, still under 500$ definately with profit, Compare iPhone Samsung nearing 1000 plus. All encasing their name only. Billions surplus share value up!

In simple words: I like it. Especially considering the fact that it has all the premium specs and it costs half of those so called thick-bezeled "flagships" from apple and Google.
