Looks fantastic. Why did that take so long to get rid of them bezels? The Google Pixel phones even look like they are working on making them bigger!

As long as they are selling in China only,... moreplease stop speculating -__- it could also be that sharp provided the screen ever thought of that :O or maybe the mix has its own unique patents seeing it was in production for over 2 years it has a rounded edge display that sharp doesnt have, and its usuing similar but different ultrasonic technology based on ceramic small things like this makes a huge difference

Small-handed people already have a million of devices to choose from, 5.5-inchers are everywhere and even smaller ones are available everywhere. :)

The only thing that really REALLY bothers me is that it's a (very) limited release... Will we as westerners be able to buy the Mix too, through ali for example?

You shouldn't be able to patent something like the shape of a phone, Apple's rounded corners argument is complete horeshit that's just trying to stop people from making smartphones. Patents should be used to protect your technology not something as trivial as shape. I glad some Chinese brands don't give a fuck that way they lower the price of a smartphone which creates competition and is better for consumers.

I'm not a big fan of the Chinese, but with such products, you often wonder, will they just surpass Apple and Samsung?
Because, just look at this piece of art. Full coverage, Ultrasonic proximity sensor, how cool is that! And 4400 mah in this small body, and you start fearing the Chinese... a bit... no matter what phone you make.

This is a miracle! Bezels, good performance and big bezels are my priorities.
Hats off to Xiaomi, hopefully more will follow them and somebody one day will make one smaller. As i understand it, its easier to make smaller bezels, the bigger the phone is, as some things necessite some minimum dimensions. I hope this will be a success and more will follow, a 6 incher with 85% ratio would convince me to replace my trusty s7 edge.

I love the design. I also love the FULL SCREEN DISPLAY. And the packaging also. This phone is so elegant for me.
