i'd have preferred having some bezel at the top but kudos to xiaomi for a pretty impressive concept phone. wonder it'll fare in the market, even if it does happen to be just a niche product.

I hope there will be smaller version of Mi MIX.. about 5.2-5.5 inch display with around 3500mah battery capacity

Darn it, Xiaomi already said they won't be bringing MIX or Note 2 to India. I just hope Mi6 will be bezel-less like this one and actually comes to India. Unique phone, but its a shame not many will be able to get their hands on.

As long as they are selling in China only,... moreI doubt it will happen that.Taking into consideration that patent's involving design are very vague to start with.Unless Xiaomi is using someone other proprietary tech(for example speaker trough screen as in the case of Sharp) and even than,there is a way to get around that when the idea is the same but tech propeling it is different.
Now am just sad because Sharp isn't on the international market anymore :(

Great job! This will definitely replace my 6" phablet next year which I mostly use as a compact tablet. Xiaomi managed it keep it secret till announcement. I'm not a fan of edge design for some reason. All other oems will get real headache now. Next what I would like to see I a compact version to replace my phone. And as far I read the comments most people here are simply amazed coz I'm sure they have developed the non speaker system better than Sharp or gigaset. Bring it worldwide and you won't be concerned that vivo and oppo have higher sales in China

OSasmatteroffact, 25 Oct 2016They're violating Sharp's patent over the border less designThey don't care. As long as they are selling in China only, no one bothers to sue them. Once they start exporting I predict nice fat lawsuits from all major vendors.

funny enought the mi micx has been in production for over 2 years which makes you ask the question how can xiaomi really copy sharp and the aquos crystal was out in 2014 around the same time i think this is a case of two minds thinking alike but sadly int he smartphone people think its impossible for people who have never seen each others ideas and are nowhere related to think of the same thing

This looks like the first decent Xiaomi phone. To bad it runs MiUI, and I just bought a Pixel XL. I hope it doesn't have sub-par battery life for such a big cell, which seems to plague most phone's from China

I am a japanese brand fan, but I must admit this is amazing machine and chinese are leader in development. I will wait for xperia with screen like this, well I hope they will offer something similar.
