Also, most Android phones still stuck on Eclair or even worse, you're left with your mediocre phone memory to install apps. Poor guys. (:

Also, Symbian phones STILL got the most functionality out there, and are the most customizables.

Those stupid fanboys only hate Symbian because they claim that it's ugly and the phones don't have 1Ghz CPU, that's all the arguments they have. Android is a crap, only now it's begginig to get decent (only now you can install apps in the memory card LOL lame). They think that Android is better because it look "beautier". (:

Anonymous, 08 Dec 2010the only reason nokia is no.1 in sales is coz 99.9% of Asia... moreWhat are the "smart" things that Android can do but Symbian can't?
Come on..just stop being childish and stop fanboyism.
This is getting ridiculous.
More competition = better choice for consumers.
I have used both Android and Symbian. They are both good. Probably more techsavvy users will go for Android, but I don't find Symbian lacking in the usual daily use as a smartphone.
And, Nokia is #1 because it is reliable and affordable. That's it. I haven't seen any Asian claiming Nokia is from their land.

How about starting ignoring the haters trolls? All they want is attention. Let's not give them fun. (:

[deleted post]I would buy from Nokia, since they have by far the best devices out there. There are almost half a billion people like me every year.
I do buy and use devices from other manufacturers too, so I have a good position to objectively compare. How about you?

Who are the 99.9% Asians? Maybe you meant 9.9%.
I am an Asian and have a ton of Asian friends (Chinese, Korean, Japanese, Indian, etc), there are only a few who believe Nokia is an Asian brand.

Things like real multitasking and freely installable third party software. You know things like iOS for example fails. Lets try it this way around...
What particular feature smartphone should have that S^3 doesn't have?

the only reason nokia is no.1 in sales is coz 99.9% of Asians think that nokia is an asian phone lol! because when you pronounce NOKIA! it does indead sound asian...By the way i see Nokia's "smartphones" more as toys than anything else, is it a smartphone coz it has a mini hdmi and a 12mpx camera???? if that's needed for it to be a smartphone ok then it is, but honestly by the amount and quality of applications on android and apple they have seriously run over Nokia dead! its just the matter of time until nokia jumps on the android bandwagon, symbian or what ever operating system nokia makes up just cant catch up and get the development that's required, a lot of people that bought the n8 impulsively are regretting and switching...

Anonymous, 08 Dec 2010is it hard to add auto focus feature on camera??It has been said many times before, but average people usually get better shots with Full Focus (not fixed focus) than with AF.
If you actually know how to use a camera, you should go with N8 anyway ;)

[deleted post]Have you actually tried S^3? It can do a lot more than any other OS and it is also a lot more customizable. Unlike with Android and iOS, if you find something you don't like, you can just change it.
Here is a great example on the level of customization available.
