Apple iPhone sales keep slowing down, holiday season might turn things around

There sales are down, yet most stores don't have stock of their iPhones, maybe perhaps in other colors. There profits are going down yet they don't have the product to sell, what's going on here?

iPhone is a very capable phone, no doubt. The problem is that iOS lacks in terms of features and customization compared with Android OS. Add features and remove restrictions in iOS opreating system then enjoy heavy sales.

I can see why is that. I didn't feel like I need to buy a new iphone or ipad for years now. They support them a bit too well. Ipad air 2 vs ipad pro 9.7? two years difference but no need to update. iPhone 5s still runs well on ios 10. Pricing is ok for me. It's more or less the same as other flagships (Pixels, note, etc) and apple provide their own OS. (That's why Google priced the Pixel as such too. They provide the OS. Other companies just use it (e.g. Samsung)
Also it used to be simple, every october a new model. Now they release "mid-season" updates to older versions.

1- iphones are not dual sim specially in indian market 90% are people who have dual sim smart phones remaining 10 have either 2 different smartphones with a one sim slot
2- no bluetooth connectivity to and from other android phones only iphone to iphone it works
3- no expandable storage at least apple should give hybrid sim slot
4-no options to change theme or look of the iPhone only one default launcher of ios system
5- high price segment phones not worth

Overprice and get nothing. Same all the years. Without download 3rd party app it's nothing can do with that device.. I'm done..

Seems to be a hiccup more than anything: some weakness in those numbers with the iPhone 6S, but appears to be supply issues with the iPhone 7. Should be interesting this quarter with the Note 7 halt...

Based from my observation, this could be the possible things:
1. No significant change over the 6s / 6s Plus (maybe even worse with the lack of headphone jack)
2. Costs too much for what it's capable of (just because it scores a little bit higher on benchmarks doesn't mean it has to be priced so high)
3. There are better alternatives that can do the same or more things at a fraction of the price (OnePlus 3, Axon 7, Idol 4s, Mi5s, Honor 8, etc.)
4. Nearly nothing likes Apple nowadays (I can see more people using Android phones fhan iPhones)
5. People aren't that rich to buy the newest from them.
6. Maybe people had poor experiences with Apple products

Its familiar directions of all monsters!! They make while it shines and after that, Nokia, Blackberry, Sony Ericsson etc....It is just a matter of time before new era of communication overtakes Apple iPhones by Surface Phone or Sony or Nokia...again, new cycle will begin.
