Fingerprint sensor inbuilt in the touchscreen panel, great. Now people will see you unlock the phone using your fingerprint on the screen and think that you're using some fake fingerprint scanner softwares. Lol

But at the time the iPhone came out it wasn't a 'meh' product. Xiaomi could be on to something, and it seems the way they are doing it is better than before because I and many other people have never even heard of the Aquos.

Please don't spread false information as fact. It's also highly possible to place an ultrasonic reader under glass as well, which is most likely going to be the case, no company would go back to tech with vulnerabilities.

Sharp has been working in almost bezel free display fir a couple years, but the problem with their phones is that they are never flagship spec but are expensive at rhe same time. Not to mention only released in Japan. Xiaomi is helping push other manufacturers towards innovation. Only a positive imo.
