I find it really interesting that there haven't been any news about Note 7 exploding after Samsung discontinued the Note 7. Even though there are still lots of Note 7's being used.

Oh, better quality assurance? I totally can't wait until they finally manage to sell devices with proper quality AMOLED screens and not that tinted, color banding grabage they usually sell. Then I might finally buy a Samsung product again.

The conclusion according to me is that just one bad handset can't kill a company.
It still has 100s of products creating positive experience for rest of the market.

The only thing is, they need to be cautious now. That's it. They will recover.

How could Samsung say that, what they could promise, when neither Samsung, nor any US lab or other labs found what was the cause of the ''exploding'' Notes7???? Nothig wrong was found with Note7? (and Note7 stop exploding after the ban)
                    What they will do?
Or they could catch the scammers easily?
Or US(China, Taiwan) as a countries depending on phone selling economics, promise not to that again?

In 4 years the hardware of the devices will be so much better and powerful, so the updated OS they have, will slower today's devices if you use it on them.
Don't be fooled by the nonsense of how great are 'long OS upgrades' myths. They are meant to slow down your phone and buy new one. Especially on Android(mostly Samsung), where OS upgrades are with real mighty features, but not mostly just bug-fixing as on iOS

Talk is cheap. If Samsung really wants to improve quality they would extend all warranty to 3 years and provide software update for 4 years at least. They won't so it is all hot air.

¿significant changes? mmm... I think they are going to made hardware quality check changes, nothing else. I do not buy Samsung or another brand anymore unless the product it is Nexus/Pixel. These are the only models/products that give a truly android experience.
The software of the S line or another model just not fit my needs and makes the experience even worse.

I hadn't considered that possibility to be fair. However I would also contend that Pinching is only one of many possible faults that may arise and is still (abeit as you say far less likely) possible in removable batteries. But as before you are quite right it would depend on the actual fault.

In part, I see your point. However, doesn't it depend on what the cause is for the battery overheating? The cause could be charging circuit failure which is in-line with your statement. Or, perhaps there was a manufacturing process defect where some (non-removable) batteries were pinched at some point in the process, etc. In the latter case a removable battery is probably far less likely to be pinched due to a removable battery's case being harder than the non-removable battery. Non-removable batteries do not have as hard of a casing versus removable batteries.

Being able to remove the battery would NOT stop the thing from initially over heating, although it would limit the number the total number of incidents as new spread. If the batteries were removable how would you use your phone after you removed the faulty battery and before the new and "safe" versions were available? The answer quite simply is that you wouldn't. You would be stuck in exactly the same position waiting for the safe batteries to be tested, shipped and delivered. Removable batteries are most definitely not the answer to this problem.
