I loved my 3GS the first month, then i felt like sheep, ios is so fast, but fast is a work you put to descibe something, this "something" does not excist on ios. it does so little to keep the speed up. 3GS owner, and now N8, still miss N95 :)

N8 is lot smoother than galaxy S. Games that are both for S^3 and Android, like NFS Shift, play smoother on any S^3 device than even the latest Android devices.
Android is ridiculously inefficient. Its bit like comparing Linux and Windows Vista.

Symbian is a dead tech that cannot keep up with the likes of android or IOS, just like nokia handsets it is useless and a waste of time and money. only a idiot would place any form of faith in this broken and sluggish operating system. next time nokia think about bringing out a new handset or updating their operating system i suggest they dont bother.

My nexus one is underclocked at 600 mhz and trust it is less laggy than symbian...there is also many android phone that runs at around 600 mhz... still it is less laggy than what i saw on symbian....
---The UI on symbian is not designed for touch...
---very limited widget functionality...
---Low resolution support...
---Menu and submenues(well this depends on taste)...
---Symbian uses microkernel which will always be slower than a regular kernel...
---Very very basic email support...
---the browser is awfull(i know there is opera, but still)...
---It's taking years what google is doing in months
