I mean, why w... moreThe fact is once you have user an iPhone for at least a month and have understood exactly how it works, it would be very hard to go back to android, especially if you browse a lot, as nothing can match the smoothness and stability of the safari browser.
Coming from a long time android user/fan. Currently owning Note 2, Nexus 6P, and Xiaomi Mi 5. However, using only iPhone 6s as a main phone / daily driver.
My verdict: they both are good and bad in certain areas. So whatever works best for you!

iPhone 7 plus ha... more1- I care about VR. Alot of people you may not know does.
2- have never notice AMOLED ghosting in any of my android phones. AMOLED displays are great. iphone screen resolution is not flagship-grade.
3- Battery life is better than iphone in some android phones, even android phones have fast charging, something your iphone lacks even today.
4- Fastest SoC, lol...that's the only thing iphone can really boast about...performance, at the cost of limited features...enjoy your restricted and boring iOS.
5- Even OnePlus 3 offers an experience as smooth as your iphone 7, for half the price of your overpriced iphone. Don't assume Samsung is the only android device. There are other great phones, we have always have "choices". Good luck finding another ios device (except your old phones...lol). Also, Note 7 offers alot more features compared to your iphone. It is on a different league. Don't even compare your inferior device to it.
6- Check out reviews for yourself, dxomark, gsmarena, and other reviewers have rated several android flagships higher than iphone 7.
7- Android also have a lot of better soft. You need to be just a little smarter in picking the right ones.

Lol this makes me laugh.
Who the hell is a survey company called IDC? They surveyed 1082 Americans lol. Hardly what you would call a true reflection of the population!
I bought a Note 7 in the UK and sadly it never arrived because of the chernobyl battery. How many people or surveys asked me what phone I would get next? None!
If asked I would have said Never an IPhone! My next phone will be the most powerful variant of the S8 next year.
My reasoning is this: Apple are unfreindly and I hate ITunes it's the most horrible media interface. No true Bluetooth either.
All the phones out now have older processors and I shall wait for 2017's developments. Why rush and spend your money on second best or settle for something inferior.
I will save my £700 and get the S8 then the Note 8 later that year :-)

iPhone 7 plus ha... moreI agree to 3 of opinions. iPhone 7 having a slightly better camera(which will end with S8), faster SoC and updates.
But AMOLED ghosting? That only partially true for phones leaving out in the sun 24/7 with the same screen constantly displayed. Something you can only find in the phones of the service centers. If you ever tried comparing SAMOLED to Retina side-by-side, then you'll realize why iPhone's display is shit compared to samsung's.
And lags? S7 might load apps a fraction of a second slower than iPhone, but in no way can it be called a "laggy phone". And I'll gladly accept that slightly slower loading time for all the features I can get from a good android flagship.

People only get VR for free and then they re-sell it online after trying it once.

iPhone 7 plus has a good display(no AMOLED ghosting), battery, the fastest SoC and user experience unlike note 7 and s7 which lag and stutter. They also have a great camera. They also have a LOT better software update support.
But I wouldn't still buy them.

Smart people will either keep their old one, cuz it just works, or will buy last years flagship whih will be like 2x cheaper. Also I have ordered OP3 which costs 2x cheaper and sti has specs like your overpriced crap. I dont even care about updates, becauae community is just as good and we can custom rom it. Also root will not void warranty in OP phones. Funny people these days.

My friend's 1st idea of the next phone to swap to is 7 Plus. Just too bad Pixel is not sold here else she would have probably went for that since she prefer Android.
