Sony Ericsson PlayStation Phone benchmarked on video

10 December, 2010
The long rumored PlayStation Phone (or should we call it Zeus) just can't stay away from the news. This time it got benchmarked with the Qualcomm's Neocore, but it scores far less than the Google Nexus S...

Kind of true, was they behind competition from dual core rivals with better everything, still have it somewhere laying down in pile of dust

to be honest i don't even reckon this is the playstation phone.

sony announced quite a while back that if they were to release a ps phone then they would not be making it with ericsson as the ps brand belongs to sony,

      http://www.mobiletoday.co.uk/sony_ericsson_playstation_psp_plans_refused_by_sony.html

also to be fair, why on earth would sony use googles android operating system when they can quite easily adapt the xmb platform to the phone with its own psn app store,

even sync with the ps3 wirelessly and their tv range etc, etc

this phone doesnt even have a ps logo on it.

i believe sony will surprise a few peeps in the near future.

I don't know why but the design of this handset is not beautiful at all. Somehow I don't like it even though it is coming from SonyE and it has been named as "Zeus" which is my nickname for more than 10 years in Internet. Not enough sympathetic for now...

So SE lovers rejoice and SE haters change yor choice.

My vibrant got 55.7 fps which is good but I won't trust samsung, because this phone lag and buggy for a 1gig hertz processor! Don't know if it's touch wiz or android, but the sony phone is gonna run android.

This is will be of great challenge to Sony Ericsson on their already establish Playstation now with phone and on touchscreen, WOW Great! I'm looking forward to have them at soonest not later or else they loose consumer's energy. The size should be at least 7" LCD with a lot of apps.

Is the handset video upside-down? Given the slide-out keyboard, why would the phone support that screen orientation when all previous Sony smartphones, even without slide-out keyboards, don't rotate that way? Is it a real video?

Seriously guys think about it! Someone is trying hard to make this phone look bad, so be aware of this. I'm not saying gsmarena have bad intentions, but sometimes gsmarena become stupid and post everything even though there not sure if it's true or false.

I believe that SE lives off former branding. Walkman phones often are nowhere near as good as some phones, even in the cheaper price band, not making claims to enhanced audio. I think that with phones like Galaxy S HTC Desire HD etc, SE are pushing another branding gimmick. PSP GO was a FAILURE, not holding my breath here in anticipation of a gaming marvel!
