These are all features made by Qualcomm built into the every SD800 and above. Most top brand manufacturers are still without these features. LG recently released an update got some of them 2 weeks ago, only on the V20. Xiaomi released all these features across all supported devices Jan 2015 as a software update, even the old Mi3.

I wonder if this phone has the huge black bezels. The mi5 does. The mi5s does. But for some reason the mi5s plus doesn't.

Name me another _built-in_ camera app that allows you to control the amount of sharpness and saturation in photos. I know of none, you're usually stuck with whatever the manufacturer deemed best (see for example Sony's oversharpened photos, still present in their flagships even though they got better at it). The only real issue I have with the default camera app is that the autofocus sometimes starts hunting erratically in video mode. What issues do you have with it?
As for MIUI killing off apps quickly - yes, but only those you haven't locked on the task manager. If you want the app to not get killed off randomly, lock it by swiping the icon downwards. It even says so in the pop-up the first time you open the task manager, but most people (including me, at first) just close it without reading, then wonder why their apps don't stay open.

OPPO and vivo are the new companies on the rise(OPPO vivo and Oneplus are under the ownership of BBk electronics.
LeEco is also on the rise.Xiaomi is not going up anymore
