Might also mean a better and more efficient power management/comsumption as seen on desktop pcs, it's what you do with the phone(+your own configurationn) that tells the life of it's battery.

But now most of the phones here is from Samsung and apple(Sony Ericsson and LG is present but not so many use it), of course Nokia is still a dominant player but not the 90% you are saying (around 35-40%).

Besides, how many of them can you possibly put on a 48GB memory before you run out of space? Not alot. So we would be fine with just 720p videos.
On a side note, did you know that there's virtually no defference 1024 x 576 and 720p videos on the Desire HD? (I'd know, I watch alot of anime on this baby)

every person is not ready to listen cons of the device for which he has spent money specially for high end devices. but i think we all should have neutral, non-imposing views.
there was a time when symbian by nokia was ruling the mobile world but now android and iOS app development is at top. so to be in competition nokia introduced symbian 3 with high sepcs device i.e. n8. but still android app development is very high (followed by iOS
) because its development kitts are officialy free.
i m using WM and i have decided to shift to some good android phone bcz m a app lover.
nokia is good for its durability, resale value but htc is great for its sense UI. samsung dont give a good UI experience but good on phone specs. se is also in competition just due to its xperia series otherwise its also need a good UI with high end spec.
xperia is little bit behind than galaxy and desire series. LG is far away from these devices but the tegra processors they are introducing is a great step in mobile world.
LG was almost out of competition so it introduces this tegra technology.
Tegra is developed by nvidia and it is veryy highly effecient and fast especially for games so it will open a new era in app development or may b porting ps3 or xbox games to mobile devices.
but this tegra technology is not bound to LG, lets see what htc and samsung do with this technology hope they wiil intreoduce better.

Having traveled to one of the third world countries, I can say that the great majority of people is using a Nokia. More like around 90% of those people are using a Nokia. I've seen the simple 5100 to Nokia's N series. To these people, Nokia is the cellphone maker and your handset model represents your status. I assume that to the majority of these people, the N series is the phone that everyone wants and aspire for.
My theory is that whenever they have the chance to go online and search for a cellphone, they search for Nokia's top handsets. Now if you factor in the great number of these people then I have no doubt that the N8 and the N series will get a lot of hits.
Just my 2 cents.

Havin... moreIt's all about multitasking experience...putting a running 1080p video in the background while you go to Facebook and Twitter and tell everyone how much you like it. Suddenly, you get a phone call at the same moment, and while you are on the phone call, ppl at Fb and Twitter start replying to your comments...imagine all those notifications and tasks and lots of stuff happening while the 1080p video is in the background. Could happen, right? That's why we need faster processors on our phones :)
